The Air Venturi Krypton 4500 PSI Compressor improves on the previous version because it features 15% faster fill times than the previous version and an upgraded filter system that removes even more moisture from the air it outputs. Shooters no longer have to worry about the source of air for airguns, paintball guns, or aluminum and carbon fiber bottles and tanks.
The updated technology included in this compressor yields the same great dependability as before, with the advantage that shooters can now spend less time waiting for airguns and bottles to fill, so they can get back to shooting. In addition, the filter system on this model has been improved so that it has increased moisture removal capabilities, resulting in drier, high-quality fill air.
The Air Venturi Krypton features an automatic shutoff setting that can be adjusted for pressures up to 4500 PSI and allows the unit to stop filling once the correct pressure has been reached, reducing the risk of damage from overfilling a bottle or airgun. The compressor is internally water cooled for maximum efficiency and heat dissipation with less wear and tear on the motor.
This compressor is capable of operating off of a standard 110V outlet and has a digital temperature gauge and includes a fill hose with female quick-disconnect fitting, and a kit with additional O-rings and seals. Surprising quiet. Fills quickly.
Things I would have changed:Used it only a few times so far; filling guns with it, not tanks; and it's really fast.

I really like how quiet this compressor runs. It's also easy to set up. It fills very efficiently. I'm confident in my ability to maintain it--seems pretty straight forward.
Things I would have changed:I would like the ability to see the water capacity no matter its level. Currently, the top portion of the water tank is covered by metal.
What others should know:It came with everything needed. The box as a little beat up by the time it got to me but everything was in tact and no damage.

Once I received the 4th compressor, it had the least damage but still has a bent crossmember, set everything up and it works very well. Super efficient for filling tanks and PCP rifles. Automatic shut off works like a charm. Set up is easy. Customer service is great, I recommend calling them first to speak with a representative and then communicate via email if they need further information such as pictures if you require assistance.
Things I would have changed:Pyramid Air needs to improve the packaging for the compressors, add more padding and more protective material for shipment. They also need to look into shipping with a different company because UPS drops packages off the back of the truck and treats them with total disregard so there is a high likelihood of receiving a damaged item.
What others should know:I originally purchased the Air Venturi 4500 at the beginning of December and had to go through the return and exchange process three times because they all arrived damaged. I did not feel this was acceptable at the price I paid for the item. Finally got in touch with Mr. Cameron in Customer Service when I called and he was able to assist me by putting notes in for the warehouse to pad item with extra care. The fourth compressor arrived yesterday 2/1/24 and it had a bent crossmember; however, it was the least damaged out of all of them and it works very well. The company definitely needs to change the packaging for shipment because this was a very frustrating experience and I would be hesitant to order another compressor from this company unless they change the way they package them.
