Rocket Shot Targets

The system forces you to aim instinctively at the moving target and helps further develop marksmanship. Use the Rocket Shot Target to become a better sharpshooter, hone your instinctive shooting skills, train with your shooting team, or for hours of family fun.

Product Tip: Simple to set up, the Rocket Shot Target works best when installed straight up and down (vertically) into the ground. That way the target is sure to launch when the target trigger (paddle) is hit, even with minimal force.

Safety rated for airguns that shoot lead ammo only. Be sure there is nothing within range behind the target. Wear safety glasses at all times.

Daisy Rocket Shot Target

  • Reactive target for .177, .20, .22, and .25 caliber airguns that shoot lead ammo only
  • Aim and fire at base target that when hit launches an aerial target for a fun follow-up shot
  • Self-cocking spring mechanism
  • Easy set-up and loading
  • Target trigger diameter: 2.5"
  • Width: 3"
  • Height: 23.5"
  • Made in the USA

The Rocket Shot Target is great fun for shooters of all ages. First you shoot the 2.5" spring-loaded target trigger that launches the target (can) 10 to 12 feet into the air, then you take your follow-up shot. You can experiment with your own reactive targets and load your system with a soda can, plastic bottle, whiffle ball, or anything else that is lightweight and fits in the auto-locking wide mouth.

Things I liked:

Shoots a soda can up high enough to get 3-5 shots off at it.

Things I would have changed:

Latching. It's fidgity, or bit tricky, but once you get it figured it's not so bad. Wish it were a bit more positive.

What others should know:

This is FUN. Well worth the money. Get a repeating pistol or rifle and give it a try. It's more difficult than you'd imagine and is loads of fun.

Things I liked:

These are fun. We created team events with 4 Scouts per team assigned to each Rocket Shot. One designated target shooter and three designated aerial shooters per team. It is a fun entertaining and spectator friendly event.

Things I would have changed:

I think the description is very misleading. "Includes durable metal can that handles shot after shot" This description is NOT for the target. You have to provide your own. Any 12 ounce soda can will work.

What others should know:

It is addictive. You will want more than one to minimize the time spend downrange retrieving and setting up again and again.

  • Coach from USA asked:

As a shooting Coach we are always looking to help introduce Jr's and adults to new ways to practice rapid fire/ multi gun shooting. I have used the rocket shot target sense 2015 and find using the rocket shot with our APS pump 870 airsoft shot gun for static to aerial target works out great for our rapid fire multi gun program. We use a clay target for shotgun aerial target works out pretty good. Now for the US 3 gun nation airsoft and airgun division has a target that is similar to what powder burners get to shoot during a rapid fire match.

    • George from USA asked:

Inexpensive air rifle to use for this target? I only have single-shots...

      • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

Try the Crosman 1077 or the Sig Sauer MCX...both would be a lot of fun with this

    • William from USA asked:

I just bought three of these for our youth program. The description says "Includes durable metal can that handles shot after shot" but there is no can included. That is not right.

      • Steve from USA answered:

I'll bet the included "durable metal can" is the one that says, "Rocket Shot target system" on it; it's quite right.

      • Daniel from USA answered:

Return it would be impossible to find an empty soda can somewhere lol
