Much better than the stock, plastic gearbox that came with my L96 originally. At the first event I took it to, got 17 kills. So it is super hi-performance.

The only problem was that package didn't come with mounting screws, causing an annoying late night Home Depot run

You need an upgraded box like this first if you are planning on doing ANY internal upgrades to your L96. The trigger box takes the most stress, so it needs to be upgraded first.

Works perfect with upgraded parts, I put the UTG type 96 upgrade kit in with this trigger and have had no problems so far, I think this kit would have destroyed the stock plastic trigger box by now. And it does come with the piece that goes up the middle of the trigger box.

works in a Well MB04. i bet it works in a lot of other airsoft sniper rifle regardless of the brand name. a lot like a toyota and kia these days...interchangeable parts.

the picture supplied by pyramid.com is misleading. if you look at the picture of the similar product that is a plastic box it is more rpresentative of the metal box item. this meatl box item comes with a peice that slides up into the center. mine was interchangeable...so even if it doesn't come with it the old one may work.

as many know these metal boxes are often expensive and sometimes hard to find. if you are willing to gamble that it will fit your application...go for it...it may be the last chance to fix that "old" sniper rifle. another thought i had was buying the platic trigger box and applying a thin coat of fiberglass and resin to the exterior of the box. if done neatly and thin it would be strong and maybe work.

works in my kid's Well MB04 sniper rifle. picture is not exactly accurate. it also has the straight part that runs up through the middle of the housing/box in front of the trigger. or, you could swap out your old straight piece and slide it into this one. look at the picture of the plastic ones also on pyramid air. it looks like that. but, the trigger box IS METAL. should be the last trigger box the kid will need.

the folks at pyramidair were very helpful...but weren't familiar with the extent of the problem with the plastic trigger box and that this metal box fits as many air rifles as it does.

better get it while you can.

It is actually all metal, fit inside my well mb05. Much cheaper than any other metal trigger assembly on the market. Works with my upgraded spring no problems.

I would have sold the rifle with this trigger assembly in the first place.
