Things I would have changed:Make it out of aluminum. Lower the price a bit. What others should know:Yes it's plastic, but its good quality polymer. Heck I have powder burners with polymer frames, so I have nothing against plastic as long as it stays firmly monted on the gun. I certainly feels tight. And since this IS a CO2 gun with no recoil, I don't see why it wouldn't stay that way.
Things I would have changed:The rail should be made from a much harder/stiffer material. Because it is relatively soft it is hard to mount and gets out of alignment easily. I am using it on a CP88, Umarex should tap and drill the CP88 to accept a standard metal scope rail. What others should know:I have to have a sight, I am using the Walther MRS. If you can shoot with the standard sights on the CP88 you should. The Combe Rail is a waste of money but it is the only alternative.
Things I would have changed:Metal rather than plastic. What others should know:No complaints. It does the job and I guess that's what's important although I sometimes wonder if it was metal, it might be more stable (the vote is still out on that--if I find that my POI changes with use, I'll write back). I use it on my Walther CP88 with a Walther red dot sight (very cool combo, by the way).
