10 of 16 Walther Night Hunter Laser & Reviews
Lazer is strong, light is bright, when you get fresh batteries for it, not the dead ones that came with it.
Things I Would Have ChangedNot very stable, one slight bump and the lazer is off its mark and it would have been nice to get fresh batteries with it. Also the remote switch is temperamental. Not a quality product, very disappointed.
What Others Should KnowI would not recommend this product for accuracy, actually I would not recommend this at all, its a glorified flashlight.
I mounted this site on my Discovery and I think it will work pretty good on those pesky rabbits in my garden at night. At around 30-35 yards, I can see the target very well and the cross hairs on my scoop are right exactly in the center of the laser light. I really don't have to aim through the scoop but just put the laser dot onto the target and pull the trigger. I hit a can at about 40 yards away with viewing through the scoop with the first shot. I think I will enjoy this device on my Discovery PCP.
Things I Would Have ChangedI really don't know yet
What Others Should KnowOnce you have the sight mounted. it's very easy to sight it in.
Easy to mount works well
Things I Would Have ChangedExtra batteries
What Others Should KnowThis item came to me with batteries that were dead. Be aware.
Bright light
Things I Would Have ChangedBetter spring mount
What Others Should KnowJunk wont get lazer to stay recoilknocks light off ..not very tough. Worth abot 20bucks...dissapointed..
I had my reservations about the lumens of this unit, however I have found it to be extremely adequate for my uses. The combination of laser and flashlight is fantastic. It mounts nicely and the added ability of the pressure switch makes this a great unit. It is light enough to use on my Sig P226 as well as the Benjamin NP2 without distracting balance.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing!
What Others Should KnowFor anyone who needs a flashlight that provided sufficient light and is weight conscience this is the unit to have.
it give a good looking on your rifle and light, raser too.
Things I Would Have Changednone
flashlight come with the laser is great i used for the first time shotting pigon at my job wow nice.
Things I Would Have Changedthe switch should be mounth on the gun somewhere
What Others Should KnowHey thanks again for lettin us California buying please help us fight ours goverment their stupied law is not gun that kill people is the sick people are killing prople.
Flashlight is nice & bright. The single pressure switch to control both the light & laser functions. The ability to use or not use the pressure switch to control the unit. The quick release mounting.
Things I Would Have Changed3 different Alan keys. Either change the mount's screw heads to match the battery compartment's screw head or vice-versa. Some form of Zero Lock for the Laser's windage & elevation adjustments.
What Others Should KnowLaser works well, the elevation?& windage adjustments are nice, but for me, it falls out of adjustment too often. My Hatsan 125 Sniper in .25 Cal does have a kick to it. I'm considering moving it from above the scope to the barrel mounted rail. I like the flashlight being above the scope though.
Sturdy but lightweight. Easy to setup and the laser holds well on target regardless whether the unit is removed.
Things I Would Have ChangedTighter laser dot.
What Others Should KnowLight illumination suffers past 25 yards. I only use the unit for up close night hunting. I wouldn't mount it on a spring or gas magnum. It looks and functions awesome on my Marauder though.

The light is decent. I have had better flashlights that could be mounted to the barrel fairly easy
Things I Would Have ChangedThe mount needs to be thinner. I upgraded my scope when I bought the Valiant. Even though it is a bit longer, the scope mount provided is roughly an 1/8 inch too long to mount.
What Others Should KnowAs a handheld flashlight I was impressed with the range. The laser spreads out quite a bit at longer distances, but that is typical. If I find a mount that will fit the available space left on my scope i can provide a better review.
