    Air Arms' Take Down Rifle is a great idea for airgunners who travel with their guns. Take this gun apart, stick it in the included fitted case and you're ready to go at a moment's notice. Just turn the wheel at the back of the rifle, and the gun comes apart in 3 pieces. Putting it all back together again at your destination is quick, easy and foolproof! The gun weighs less than 6 lbs., and the rifle with the carrying case is only 8.71 lbs.!

    Like all quality rifles, the TDR has a 12-groove Lothar Walther barrel, a 2-stage adjustable trigger and walnut stock with an adjustable buttstock, adjusting from 37" to 41.75".

    This gun isn't just for looks. It's a 10-shot repeater, with space in the rear stock to hold more clips that you can pre-load so you're always ready for more shots. (Gun comes with 1 clip; additional clips available) The air pressure gauge (manometer) always tells you how much air is left in the reservoir. If you want to add a bipod, there's a rail under the forearm just for that purpose.

    There are no sights on this gun, so remember to buy a scope & rings!

    Things I liked:take down factors in nicely, 10 shot repeter, Air Arms quality.
    Things I would have changed:Offer this in a .177 Open sights as an option, and the bottom acc. rail to be more of a "standard" size.
    What others should know:Machining is top shelf, super accurate partly due to the pellet time in barrel because of it rather short length. I made sure to get the first version, that acually has the silencer/moderator newer ones is just shrouded barrel which because they did'nt change the case would now have an empty spot for this equipment.

    Not true, airgun moderators are imported all of the time into the US. Been reading too many forums. Get the facts.

    This Air Rifle doesn't come with the moderator, won't clear U.S.Customs. In fact the only way that will happen is if it's permantly or very dificult or even impossable to remove. I have the same Gun add power mod. brought it to depending 18 FPE. over 900 fps. thanks T.G.A.G. I
