The BSA Lightning XL SE was first introduced in 2012. BSA invented the modern spring-piston gun, but they've never stopped to rest on their laurels. They continue to innovate, relying heavily on the expertise of world-renowned airgun expert John Bowkett.
You'll find lots of practical uses for the Lightning XL SE...hunting, pest elimination, spinners, paper targets and plinking. The integral silencer helps reduce the report normally discharged by springers of equal power, which will be helpful when hunting larger numbers of critters or if your airgun range is in your backyard in an urban area.
BSA spring-piston air rifle models are put through a rigorous 10,000-shot test and then stripped down to see how they held up. Anything that doesn't last is improved so it will. Not until the spring gun passes with flying colors in all areas does it get approved for production and can wear the BSA name. Don't you wish every airgun manufacturer did that?
Joe Have you learned where it's made? I have a Lightning XL SE GRT. The barrel is hard stamped(or engraved) UK...BUT... no where does it read Made In------. So where is the proof on the barrel that it is made in the UK?
Joe from USA asked:
Is this rifle Made in England?
Where are the markings or engravings on the rifle that show where it was made?
Val from USA:
Ok, clarification I just got today. The barrels are still made in UK (and they are stamped as such), this particular gun is assembled in Spain.
Val from USA:
Yes, it's made in England at BSA factory
Powerful spring-piston air rifle. Great for small game/pests, plinking and more.
