Uses compressed air (up to 3,000 psi) (gun comes adjusted for 2,500 psi air fill; to fill to 3,000 psi, make required adjustments as stated in the owner's manual)*
Can be adjusted for different velocities
Internal shroud makes this a VERY quiet gun
Choked barrel delivers superior accuracy
2-stage adjustable match trigger...and the trigger is metal!
Raised aluminum breech for easier loading of circular magazine
Accepts 2-piece scope mount (does not come with sights)
Hardwood Monte Carlo stock with dual raised cheekpieces and checkered grip & forearm
Built-in air pressure gauge (manometer)
215cc air reservoir
Air reservoir ends with a male quick-disconnect Foster fitting for fast refills (requires a female Foster quick-disconnect adapter to fill from a scuba tank or hand pump)
Includes one magazine, sling swivel studs & degassing tool (to remove air or CO2 from reservoir so you can quickly switch to the other gas)
As the caliber increases, the gun becomes somewhat louder. The .177 cal. is the quietest, but .22 cal. is a bit louder.
If you're just venturing into PCP guns, get this gun! You'll be hooked for life. It's not just the fact that it's remarkably accurate. But it's got a spectacular trigger. One that you usually find on much more expensive guns.
Benjamin has done everything right when it comes to filling this gun because the quick-disconnect is an industry standard. You'll never have a problem finding a way to fill your gun with air.
The deep, rich bluing and the stockwork are reminiscent of fine European air rifles...but you'll be paying a lot less than what you'd spend for one of them. You will lack nothing with this air rifle. Get it. Shoot it. Enjoy it. You'll be the envy of your airgunning friends.
Things I liked:The gun is just perfect for the price and quality provided.Powerful enough and fast service. Things I would have changed:i would love to see the gun with sights. They made a beautiful gun but no sights which is quiet upsetting.
What others should know:I bought this gun and it had a washer missing..... which turned me off but i complained and got the product really fast. Thanks pyramid air!!!
Things I liked:It Is probably more accurate than the Benjamin Discovery PCP pellets are consistent. Things I would have changed:Get rid of the rubber recoil pad, the rubber really smells and it is soft enough to rub off on my hand.
What others should know:The magazine sometimes malfunctions -- be really careful and deliberate when cocking the bolt...
Things I liked: Frist time at the range, 8 shots in a hole that my index finger wouldn't go through. It impressed every body at the range. This gun is addicting, you will need a scuba tank for this one. Exact kings are the right pellet and you will need a lot of them. I have a 100 cubit foot tank and at 3500 lbs. of air you can shoot a couple cans up before you know it. Order extra clips for hunting because you don't want to load in the field. Things I would have changed: The stock has an ugly stain that doesn't look like real wood at all.
Can you fill the Marauder .25 cal with Nitrogen? The pump is killing me and I can't get the fire dept. to fill my tank anymore.
Michael from USA:
Nitrogen should be fine. It's 78% of what a pump puts in there anyway. And it's probably going to be dry, as opposed to breathing air. Even Argon would be OK, since either gas in inert.
Jimmy from USA asked:
If I pump it to 3000psi how much psi should I expect to lose overnight?
Michael from USA:
None. Mine lasts for weeks at 3000. I notice no loss at all.
Rodney from USA asked:
What is the air fill pressure of the Marauder straight out of the box? I know it's adjustable between 2000 - 3000 psi.
Michael from USA:
Mine was delivered with about 400psi OOBox. Instructions claim it's to keep the seals biased and seated properly.
Roberto from Honduras asked:
Does the 25 cal version comes with the Lothar Walther barrel?
Paul from USA:
The .25 comes with a barrel made by a company called Green mountain.
Douglas from USA asked:
Does the current version of this gun come with the upgrades on the synthetic stocked version? (improved valve & depinger)
Val from USA:
No it does not
wesley from USA asked:
What pellet weight was used to achieve 1000 fps
Tyler from USA:
Most likely something sub 12 grains.
edwin from USA asked:
Very accurate rifle just out off the box, after 500 shots i cleaning the barrel and the riffle never been the same. Now spead all shoots in any direction,i hear about the baffles is the reason...?
Anything can help me to resolve the problem..
Val from USA:
There could be many reasons you lost accuracy after cleaning. You could have damaged the baffles when cleaning, depends on how you did it. Please give us a call and we might be able to help you sort it out 888-262-4867
