Hardwood stock with adjustable comb and checkered grip & forearm (stock stain may be lighter or darker than shown in our images)
Reversible bolt -- switch from right to left side (with our special service)
Built-in air pressure gauge (manometer)
215cc air reservoir
Air reservoir ends with a male quick-disconnect Foster fitting for fast refills (requires a female Foster quick-disconnect adapter to fill from a scuba tank or hand pump)
Includes one magazine, sling swivel studs & degassing tool (to quickly remove air from reservoir)
Upgrades from the original version of the gun: Factory-installed depinger changes the sharp "ping" to a dull thud. Improved valve (increases the number of shots: .177/.22=32 shots, .25=16 shots). Trigger moved back for better hand position. Optional reversible bolt for left- or right-handed shooters (with our special service). Simplified the breech design for assembly, service and to provide a more stable platform for larger scopes.
As the caliber increases, the gun becomes somewhat louder.
Testing has shown that filling your Marauder air rifle to no more than 2,600 psi (179 bar) may deliver the greatest accuracy. We recommend trying different fill levels between 2000 and 3000 psi to determine the optimum fill level for your own rifle. Each gun is different. A chronograph is the best way to determine optimum fill levels for precharged pneumatics (PCPs).
*The owner's manual does not show the correct weight and length for this rifle.
The owner's manual states this about fill pressures:
"The Marauder has been factory set to an efficient fill pressure that will suit most hunting and target
If you're just venturing into PCP guns, get this gun! You'll be hooked for life. It's not just the fact that it's remarkably accurate. But it's got a spectacular trigger. One that you usually find on much more expensive guns.
Benjamin has done everything right when it comes to filling this gun because the quick-disconnect is an industry standard. You'll never have a problem finding a way to fill your gun with air.
The deep, rich bluing and the stockwork are reminiscent of fine European air rifles...but you'll be paying a lot less than what you'd spend for one of them. You will lack nothing with this air rifle. Get it. Shoot it. Enjoy it. You'll be the envy of your airgunning friends.
If you're left-handed and need the bolt moved to the left side of the rifle, please add that optional service to your cart when you buy your gun.
Things I liked:Hard hitting, Accurate, Reversible bolt (LEFT HAND). Things I would have changed:Crossman needs to supply silicone lube tube with purchase of rifle. What others should know:Make sure you keep your bolt and breach lubed with silicone. The bolt probe literally pulled out the O ring in the breach. On the 4th magazine fired. Rifle sitting there....Can't fire it. Had to order Number 5 O rings Buna-N thru Amazon. Waiting...........
Things I liked:For the money... Hard to beat this deal. I like to squirrel hunt so this gun in the 25 caliber is perfect. Hard hitting and very accurate. Things I would have changed:the weight, this gun is heavy. What others should know:no
Things I liked:When buying a gun, accuracy is one of the most important factors of that gun. The Marauder has that in abundance. It is a pleasure to hit what you are aiming at all times, with very small groups. Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:when buying this or any air rifle, buy it from Pyramyd Air. They stand behind their products. My first Marauder had a slight air leak. I called customer support and they sent me a return ticket and a new gun. No arguments! So very pleasant to deal with,I wish all companies were this way.
My new .25 Marauder II is everything they said it would be and then some. One issue though. The hand pump and rifle gauge do not jive with each other. 3000psi on the pump is 3300 psi on the gun. Which should I trust?
David from USA:
trust the gun, it is more accurate. the pump measured\spressure in the hose, wich is going to be more than the gun's larger tube.
Alan from USA asked:
my marauder leaks air is there a fix for this,or do i need to send it back.
Val from USA:
pyramyd air is a certified Crosman repair center. Give them a call.
Phil from USA:
Depends on how long you have owned it. If more than 30 days, but still within warranty period, contact the manufacturer for service. If less than 30 days contact Pyramyd Air for return information. If out of warranty, I would take it to a qualified service center to have repaired.
