*Look at our zoomed images to see this compartment. The buttpad may be very difficult to remove the first time or two. It may be a little easier to remove it by wiggling it back and forth (left to right) instead of up and down. And pull hard to get it out! As you remove and reinsert the buttpad, it will loosen up a bit.

Ever wonder why multi-pumps have stood the test of time? They're perfect for every shooter...whether you're 10, 30, 50 or 80 -- male or female. Everyone can shoot a multi-pump. If you're young or small or don't have any muscle power, put just 2 or 3 pumps in the gun and shoot it. Like power and have all the muscle power you need? Put in 10 pumps.

Since the Crosman MK-177 shoots either BBs or pellets, use whatever ammo you've got on hand. It just doesn't get any better than accepting versatile ammo. Combine that with the varible number of pumps, and you've got "every man's" airgun.

Get extra clips (same ones used by the Crosman 760 Pumpmaster) and load up so you don't have to interrupt your range time with a lot of reloading.

When you shoot steel BBs, do not shoot at hard objects or water. The BBs will ricochet! No matter what ammo you're using, remember to wear safety glasses. In fact, everyone in the vicinity of the range should wear safety glasses, even if they're not shooting. Remember to remove all pets from the range before you start shooting.

Things I liked: Nice design. Power is great. Overall performs well

Things I would have changed: Would add a strap for carrying when not in use. Make one in camo colors Storage in rifle handle should have different design to store extra bb's and longer pellet cartridges The pump action a little sticky because of plastic in its handle

What others should know: For a target gun and small nuisance critters it's great but as far a speed loading it is not one to go with

Things I liked: I am Satisfied with the gun. I haven't used the gun with BBs but the Crossman Hollow Points shoot well. I Put a UTG Red/Green dot sight on the gun and hit beverage cans consistently at 50 yards. I had back surgery recently and the variable pump was my answer to keep shooting during my recovery. I can't shoot my high powered guns for a couple more months because of the cocking efforts. With the variable pump I can limit the strain on my back. The gun is a good buy.

Things I would have changed: An adjustable butt stock would be nice.

What others should know: Experiment with the number of pumps for best accuracy. Five is usually good with the gun I purchased.

Things I liked: Great little plinker for cans. Price is reasonable as well. Peep sights work fair. Lightweight is a plus..
