  • rene from USA asked:

Do i need 2 different oils for this rifle or can i just use rmcoil to maintain the power?

    • Chevota from USA answered:

Touchy subject... I think rmcoil is just tranny fluid, if so I'd say it's fine to use in the chamber. Without knowing for sure I suppose I'd pass, it may have volatile additives (google dieseling). Especially don't put anything like WD40 or other sprays into the chamber because most are very volatile. Typical sprays are fine for the bluing and bore, just not ideal for moving parts. I use motor in the chamber which most will argue is a big no no, only silicone, but whatever. Motor oil elsewhere on the gun is great. Ideally you should take the gun apart and grease the piston/spring internals and barrel pivot and catch, but second best is drip motor oil on them. If you choose to buy silicone don't use it anywhere but in the chamber, and try to use as little as possible, like one drop.
