| Your gun may be marked IZH-60 or MP-60 and may have any one of these mfr names: IZH, IZH-Baikal or Baikal. They all come from the same plant and are manufactured to the same specs. The guns are identical. Good things come in small packages, and the Russian-made IZH 60 is no exception! This single-shot air rifle is so much fun to shoot, you'll definitely have a tough time putting it down. A spring-powered gun, the IZH 60 is easy to cock and can be used by adults and youngsters (with adult supervision). The trigger is adjustable for length of pull. The synthetic stock has a raised cheekpiece and the length of the stock is adjustable (31" to 33"). The rear sight is a fully adjustable notch. The front sight is hooded. Load a pellet, cock the sidelever and start having fun! You can add a red dot sight on the 11mm dovetails to get even more accuracy from this rifle. Speaking of accuracy...you won't outgrow the potential of this gun! The accuracy of the hammer-forged steel barrel is pretty close to what you'll get on a super-expensive Olympic target rifle. Yeah, it's THAT good! Includes owner's manual. Don't forget to click on the AMMO link for a list of recommended pellets. Check the ACCESSORIES link for red dots and appropriate mounts, fun targets and safety gear you'll need. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

IZH 60 by IZH-Baikalreviews summary
Things I would have changed:The rear sight notch blade has to be unscrewed for adjusting windage. It would have been nice if it had a knob for that to do. What others should know:Give it a lube tune before firing your first shot. The preservation lubricants Baikal uses have a tendency of being a bit dried up. Other than that, there's just one thing any airgunner should know: BUY IT!!! Accuracy and fun guaranteed for life!
Things I would have changed:This gun is alot smaller than the picture depicts. Some kind of scale to compare the actual size would help. The rear sight doesn't have a windage adjustment as far as i can tell, but it's already dead on anyway. The elevation adjustment increments are too large in my opinion. A longer sight radius would also help. When i said it's extremely light, it's probably too light for 10 meter air rifle. You would need to add weight to it for competition shooting. What others should know:Having six years of precision 10 meter air rifle experience with PCP Feinwerkbaus, C02 Crosmans, pneumatic Avantis, and PCP Steyrs, I can tell you this gun will hold its own and you will not be disappointed, ESPECIALLY for a hundred bucks. It's extremely easy to use and would be particularly suitable for younger ones, but even people who are picky about their guns like me will like this one. Comments
alright sorry guys... it does have a windage adjustment. It's two screws on the rear leaf.
