Marksman 3055 Tapered Band Slingshot

Fits well and shoots great

It take some time to figure out an aiming method but provides great fun

I bought this for my kids with the idea that the tapered bands would make it easier for them to pull the sling shot back. It works really well. After reading the semi-detailed instructions I was hitting my gallon sized target with ease at 20 yards. it is easy to handle and quick to learn. I think I am having more fun than the kids.

I bought three of these. One came with the magnet leather ammo pouch which is suppose to make it easier to load and shoot. The magnet made it difficult for me and my children to pinch the smaller 1/4 in ammo. plus it obviously doesn't work when we shot plastic and glass marbles out of it. the 3/8 in ammo workers really great with the magnet! I ended up removing the magnet holder.

Buy the 3/8 in ammo with this sling shot. it seems to be more accurate and provides a better 'punch' to the target (litter and gallon bottles).

The grip is good.

The quality of the elastic band is terrible.

works great. shoots heally strong. accuracy is kinda hard to get on. but hey thats just the user not the item :P

the discription said it has a ammo holder on the arm rest. mine came with none.

Very strong DONT buy ammo smaller than 3/8 of an inch, 3/8 are great and bigger is fine as well the small ones dont seem to make much a difference but u cant see them hit so u dont know where u shot he big ones are great ALSO buy lots of ammo AND try shooting with coins =)

It should come in a pouch or some other sort of self-contained storage.

It comes with one steel shot. Be careful when opening the package so that you do not loose it or throw it away. Buy lots of ammo with it.
