Price
America's favorite airgun for over 50 years. Pump up to 8 times to increase power for hunting, plinking, target shooting and spinners. Black barrel finish. In Stock
To maintain the seals for a long time, remember to put one pump of air into the gun when putting it away after shooting. Whether you plan to shoot again the next day or not again for another 2 years, always put one pump into the gun when you're done shooting!
An American favorite for 50 years! The Sheridan Blue Streak continues to be one of the best-loved airguns. This .20 cal. rifle is a multi-pump pneumatic. The hardwood stock is sleek and lightweight and fits perfectly in your hands. The rifled brass barrel is finished in black and throws lead up to 675 fps! You can vary the velocity by the number of pumps (up to 8). The Blue Streak is ideal for hunting small game, plinking, target shooting, spinners and paper targets. It's a "must have" in every gun locker!
Although this gun has been made for decades, the manufacturer continues to put extra fine details in the rifle, such as a swelling in the forearm to make it easier to pump and a fully adjustable rear sight. If you want to drill out every last bit of accuracy (0.50" at 33 ft.), pop a scope on it. Use the B272 intermount to do that.
Don't forget to click on the AMMO link for a list of recommended pellets. The ACCESSORIES link has a list of scopes, fun targets and safety gear you'll need.
To scope this gun, you'll need an intermount. The Crosman intermount has an 11mm dovetail. The others are Weaver rails. Match up the right rings with the intermount you select!

I like that I can leave this rifle alone for weeks and pick it up and drive the first pellet home. I can't do that with any other air rifle I have. Of course the older rifles had all metal parts, including trigger guard, rocker safty and heaver pump linkage. I hear a lot of people say that they get good results with the original pellets. But all I could do was about 6-12" groups with them. I have found out that JSB's are tack drivers and I just ordered 4 more tins. My trigger is perfict right from the factory and breaks absolutly clean at a hair over 2 lbs and that's right from the factory. You willn't get that today. Things I would have changed:The only thing I can think about changing would be the scope mount. I have had a scope mounted since new and have no problems pumping. I supose pumping it would be easier with out it but it's been so long that I wouldn't know the difference. What others should know:Don't hesitate to buy one. Will last you a life time and you don't have to send it out to be tuned. Handy, light and maybe I will get buried with it. (Is it legal)?

What others should know:It is very accurate and hits hard. I have killed more than 120 animals with it in the last 4 months. Its accuracy allows you to take head shots easily.
get one with a scope and also use .20 JSB pellets.

The basic wood stock has a very sturdy feel and is fairly lightweight. Furthermore, .20 calibers pack just a little more punch for pest control--and JSB makes .20 caliber predators! Things I would have changed:There are really only 2 things I dislike about this gun. First, the trigger pull is a little rough (but I may have been spoiled by the Discovery). Beyond this, continually pumping to maximum power is a bit of a workout. I found pumping 4-5 times to be fairly easy, but 6,7, and 8 take a little effort. What others should know:When I was younger I was not allowed to own any air rifles, so I had to rely on the next best thing--friends with air rifles! Most of my earlier airgunning experience involves shooting my friends multi-pump pneumatics. For this reason, I became intrigued by the Benjamin multi-pumps.
In general, I see them as much higher quality "trade ups" compared to some of the cheaper bb/pellet multi-pumps of my youth. Do not be daunted by the lack of a scope rail! I scoped one using the Air Venturi Intermount (AV-BJ0014) and had it sighted in in no time. The intermount system had a much stronger feel than I expected. The Blue Streak is a great gun for the price and I can see why so many of Pyramyd's customers have held on to them for many, many years.

Things I would have changed:nothing What others should know:IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME BUYER OF THIS KIND OF WEAPON, BUY THE COMBO. You will eventually be so in love with this weapon that you will want the pin point accuracy of the mount and scope. the air venturi intermount and the 4x32 Leapers scope is a perfect combination for this weapon. after purchasing my blue streak. the open sights are a bit hard to see in certain lights, and at my age...lol. even with the peep sight I added. But OH MAN, when I ordered the air venturi intermount and the leapers 4x32 scope (same as what comes in the combo) I was so amazed at the accuracy and consistency of it. DO NOT GET THE BSQUARE MOUNT I cannot emphasize that enough.. bad choice. learn from my experience.
JUST GO WITH THE COMBO. It is the best value there is. and you will love it. Like I do now.. my little squirrel dog (mountain feist) goes crazy when she sees me take this weapon off the rack, she knows it doesn't miss..

A nice 900 fps would be great. What others should know:Its a great gun. Pumping it gets old. but mine has yet to let me down. I have taken a lot of critters at 35 and 40 yards with open sights and never thought twice about it. I am very please with it.

Things I would have changed:It should have a dovetail cut into the receiver. The trigger is very heavy and I have a tendency to occasionally pull shots because of the trigger. What others should know:On very hot days (100 F) if you shoot it rapidly the accuracy will suffer. You can actually make air reservoir heat up. You will get tired of pumping it when plinking. I highly recommend the Crosman 64 Peep Sight. It will shrink your groups in half and keeps the rifle a handy little carbine. I currently have the Air Venturi Intermount on my blue streak with a Leapers UTG Tactedge 4x40 Scope mounted. This allows me to shoot accurately out to 35 yards, but this set up is more difficult to pump and more delicate to carry compared to the peep sight set up.

The .20 (5mm) pellets are a little harder to find, but glad I bought it.

Quality wood stock. Tight iron sights do not drift even with some rough handling.
The rifle I am submitting a review for is now 25 years old. It is still an amazing air rifle and the seals are still 100%.
.20 cal (5mm) is an excellent all-round pellet for an air gun. If I need a bigger or faster round, I just grab a .22 LR. or .22 Magnum. Things I would have changed:Sling fittings would be nice... 25 years with no problems, ever...
Being a pump pneumatic, it is very loud for an airgun. Can't change that, but be aware at 8 pumps, dogs several houses away might be barking at it! Then again, the noise is fun! What others should know:I've used many pellets with this rifle and now only buy Beeman Crow-Magnum 5mm for it. I have left-over Sheridan round tips (in the red plastic shaker box) still left over, and you will not achieve the accuracy this rifle is cable of with them. Argueably, the only air gun most people will ever need before going to .22 LR. It is a quality item that will disappoint only the harshest critics.
This rifle will perform best with quality rounds. Occasional felt cleaning pellets have kept this rifle in perfect form.
Use only solvent-free lubes or you will destroy the seals. Keep the sights and trigger well oiled (SAE 30 works fine) as the screws and dovetail are not stainless steel.

Things I would have changed:Go back to walnut stocks (would GLADLY pay the price diference, can't give it 5 stars because the new stocks are ugly), taller, partridge style front sight to use the most of the Williams reciver sight. Make the saftey metal to go with the rest of the gun. Can't ship to home address in the Peoples Republic of Illinois, (thank you "Air Gun Act"), because of caliber/velocity restrictions. What others should know:This is a "replacement" for my fathers Blue Streak that he bought in 1960. Still on the original seals and still shoots as good as the new one. With the Williams 5G all the way down it zeros the Sheridan Cylindrical pellet at 50 yards. About 2.5" high at 25 yards. It is workable to be sure, but the front sight really needs to be taller. The trigger is a little creepy but there isn't alot of overtravel so it is easy to get used to, but what can you expect when the whole gun costs les than some really good triggers. Too bad there aren't aftermarket trigger kits for it. Also these guns really shoot well with the H&N Rundkugeln (round ball).

But for the price not that big a deal. Perfer the safety on the older benjamins. Cannot see open sights w crossman 272 scope mounts. What others should know:
