Things I liked: Prompt delivery & matching part.

Things I would have changed: Pyramid did great, as always.

What others should know: On the good news front, I sent a complaint to Air Arms (apparently a known issue for one of their lots) & God love them, they promptly sent me TWO sears at no charge. So... I have a couple of backups. The Pyramid sear is working like a champ in the gun as I speak.

Things I liked: Very easy to replace. Literally a 5 minute job.

Things I would have changed: This part is the Achilles heel of the S510, an otherwise fine rifle. If the cocking lever slips before the bolt is completely cocked, it will fly forward and break this sear completely incapacitating the gun.

What others should know: Apparently, Air Arms is aware of the problem and is working on a replacement. In the mean time it probably a good idea, if you tend to be sweaty or klutzy to put a small strip of skateboard tape on the inside of the cocking lever and have a spare sear handy.
