More and more airgunners are starting to use slugs instead of traditional, diabolo-shaped pellets for everything from plinking and target practice to pesting and small-game hunting. So, it’s no surprise that Swedish airgun innovator FX would develop a barrel/interchangeable liner system designed to meet the specific requirements of various projectile types.
With the FX STX Slug Liner A, you can customize your .22- or .25-cal FX PCP air rifle for optimum accuracy when choosing a swaged slug over a diabolo-type pellet load. Just remove the barrel and shroud from your rifle, pull the existing liner out and replace it with another based on your ammo choice. It’s that simple!
FX reports that lighter slugs will shoot better out of shorter, 500mm barrels. Also, heavier, boat-tail shaped slugs may not fit the current magazine design and will need to be loaded one at a time. For optimal accuracy, only use swaged slugs sized correctly to the bore diameter.

The first Smooth Twist X Slug barrel liners designed by FX have been developed around the Nielsen Specialty Ammo line of precision hunting slugs, picked due to their high marketplace demand. These liners will work well with any quality slug made to these specifics, along with the correct regulator/hammer setting on the rifle:

FX reports it recognizes that there are other comparable precision slug manufacturers and continues to develop slug liners to add to the series, along with additional caliber options.

What is the outer diameter of the slug liner?
I would like to order the fx six slug liner 600mm you show in stock in .22 , my question is does it come with the pusher and how do you order the suppressor since my current barrel is .30
The probe would have to come from FX USA.

Seems to shoot slugs well but also shoots pellets very well. Price is reasonable but at time of purchase of your Airgun you should have a choice of liner you would want whether it is pellet or slug .
Things I would have changed:Make it a choice of liner not a extra option
What others should know:Fx is at the top of there game if you want a quality item then Fx is where you go.
