Flambeau Safe Shot Double Rifle Reviews

Big enough to hold my Texan LSS. It's big, but not super heavy. Holds the gun with scope and accessories snug and secure. Definitely will not hold both of my rifles without removing their scopes, but should fit if iron sights. Has plenty of spots for locking the case.

Personally, the price. But the price isn't bad, but who doesn't want more for less? Really the case is great, and a great value. I have zero complaints with it.

Box came damaged, but case and gun inside were all in good working order and unblemished, so you can believe it will do its job. You can cut the foam to better fit your gun, or leave it as is and the foam compresses around the gun as you close and latch. I have left mine uncut, despite the extra closing force required because I haven't decided yet if I'm going to use exclusively for my Texan, or have so that I can swap in whatever rifle I want.

This rifle case was purchased for an Umarex Gauntlet 30, not a short rifle. It is large enough to hold two rifles but not if they both have large scopes. The rifle/scope combo I have makes this a 1 gun case with all of the magazines, moderator and small tool kit. The moderator must be removed to fit safely in the case. If a bipod is used that would need to be removed as well. It seems to be solid like most Flambeau product and the area for two of the locks is inside the handle making the locks protected. The other two locks are at the corners making it almost impossible to open without cutting the locks. Overall, in my opinion, I believe that this case will surpass all of the reasons to buy a hard case without spending a lot of money. I have another hard case that is not as hard and not as durable or secure.

I am not certain I would change anything. It is cumbersome but it fills the need for a long case.

Overall it will fit two normal sized rifles. I am not certain that there is ample room for the lid to close without pushing down forcibly. It is a heavy case empty. Add 9+ pounds of rifle and scope for one rifle makes this very heavy case and two rifles would make that weigh even more.

solid case.rifles do not move when closed . easy to carry.

make them free...I have over" a lot " of air rifles and without counting them i'm sure I have about 35 of this very same cases.

P.A. usually has these in stock.Sometimes they are hard to find elsewhere, so buy them here.You will be well satisfied with the quality and sturdiness.

foam pads inside should be glued to case or have velcro attachments to hold the foam in place. I have 3 of these cases and had to add velcro attachments to the foam to hold it in place.

These are nice cases. The second one I own. However, did not save my air rifle from the shippers.

foam might want to be more dense cells are a little too light for a good shipping container.

For the most part, these are nice cases. They are not the super hard cases but, more like the Walmart brand ones. there is plenty of room for pellet tins and odds and ins in the case.

Size big enough for small scoped rifles and even a pistol. Snug fit when closed so guns don't move.

the case is sturdy/strong and seems to be well built... the snaps appear to be tough and durable... overall i think this is a really well produced case

Exceptionally made, it has 4 latches to close & 4 locking points to secure your weapon. It's large enough to hold my Seneca Dragon claw dual tank .50 cal with scope & bi-pod. Also has ample enough room for my six air bolts, ammo & my arrow quiver when it arrives.

Very durable with 4 latches & 4 different lock points if you so choose to use them. It has ample eoom to store my Seneca Dragon Claw dual tank .50 cal with my scope & bi-pod, arrow quiver with 6 air bolts & of course my ammo. Excellent purchase.

Buy it you wont be disappointed

These cases seem very well made and are of good quality for the price. The foam is egg crate style and is nice and thick and holds the rifle in place well and should do a nice job at keeping it protected. They latch securely and should keep your rifle safe from bumps and dings while carrying and transporting in your vehicle They are smaller than I expected and am happy I bought two of them. I was planning to put a .25 caliber AirForce Condor and a .22 caliber Air Venturi Avenger both with 4 x 16 power 50mm scopes in one of them, but they wouldn't even come close to fitting in the same case. The Condor and scope take up a large part of the case by themselves except for being longer than necessary. The extra length will come in handy for carrying extra tins of pellets and your laser rangefinder.

Nothing really, although it would be nice if there was a little glue or double-sided tape holding the foam in place. Although it does stay in place fairly well on its own and some users may want to store paper targets behind the foam which would work well for that purpose.

Just to clarify the interior dimensions, I thought, there was more room inside than the sizes listed. Due to the shape of the case on the handle side, it looks as if there might be slightly more space from front to back on either side of the handle but there really isn't. Forget about the shape and just plan on having a usable rectangular space that is 52 inches long and 12 inches from front to back and you won't be disappointed. The case could probably easily hold a couple of .22 rimfire rifles with 4 power scopes, but you'll only comfortably fit one rifle with any kind of high powered rifle or air rifle scope mounted.

Decent value for the money. It opens, closes, the bugles are tight and the cushion is soft.

For what this is and what it cost, all good.

Do lot expect anything more than a hard plastic shell with some padding in which you can fit two medium sized rifles.

Case is very well made, and foam keeps rifle from moving.

Would change nothing

Pretty solid case, will protect my air rifle and is easy to carry.

It has some unfinished edges with sharp plastic, foam inserts fly around if not handled carefully.. Could have been refined more, but for $39 it protects my Gamo Hornet and has room for another air rifle.
