Flambeau Safe Shot Double Rifle Case, Black, 53.375"

Big enough to hold my Texan LSS. It's big, but not super heavy. Holds the gun with scope and accessories snug and secure. Definitely will not hold both of my rifles without removing their scopes, but should fit if iron sights. Has plenty of spots for locking the case.

Personally, the price. But the price isn't bad, but who doesn't want more for less? Really the case is great, and a great value. I have zero complaints with it.

Box came damaged, but case and gun inside were all in good working order and unblemished, so you can believe it will do its job. You can cut the foam to better fit your gun, or leave it as is and the foam compresses around the gun as you close and latch. I have left mine uncut, despite the extra closing force required because I haven't decided yet if I'm going to use exclusively for my Texan, or have so that I can swap in whatever rifle I want.

This rifle case was purchased for an Umarex Gauntlet 30, not a short rifle. It is large enough to hold two rifles but not if they both have large scopes. The rifle/scope combo I have makes this a 1 gun case with all of the magazines, moderator and small tool kit. The moderator must be removed to fit safely in the case. If a bipod is used that would need to be removed as well. It seems to be solid like most Flambeau product and the area for two of the locks is inside the handle making the locks protected. The other two locks are at the corners making it almost impossible to open without cutting the locks. Overall, in my opinion, I believe that this case will surpass all of the reasons to buy a hard case without spending a lot of money. I have another hard case that is not as hard and not as durable or secure.

I am not certain I would change anything. It is cumbersome but it fills the need for a long case.

Overall it will fit two normal sized rifles. I am not certain that there is ample room for the lid to close without pushing down forcibly. It is a heavy case empty. Add 9+ pounds of rifle and scope for one rifle makes this very heavy case and two rifles would make that weigh even more.

solid case.rifles do not move when closed . easy to carry.

make them free...I have over" a lot " of air rifles and without counting them i'm sure I have about 35 of this very same cases.

foam pads inside should be glued to case or have velcro attachments to hold the foam in place. I have 3 of these cases and had to add velcro attachments to the foam to hold it in place.

These are nice cases. The second one I own. However, did not save my air rifle from the shippers.

foam might want to be more dense cells are a little too light for a good shipping container.

For the most part, these are nice cases. They are not the super hard cases but, more like the Walmart brand ones. there is plenty of room for pellet tins and odds and ins in the case.
