A riflescope designed from top to bottom for the most demanding hunter, the 2.5-15x44 Optika6 features capped windage and elevation turrets to avoid accidental adjustments. The 6x magnification gives you a remarkably broad range of zoom for a wide range of target and hunting situations. 0.25 MOA per click adjustments can be re-set to zero so there is no guessing when you have to dial for different distances in the field. The 2.5-15x44 Optika6 comes standard with a multi-position magnification ring throw lever.
Featuring a Second Focal Plane (SFP) DichroTech BDC reticle, you'll enjoy easy to identify hold over lines accompanied by Meopta's patent-pending DichroTech coating. Originally developed for the TOW missile system, DichroTech enables the reticle to automatically adjust color tone and intensity based upon the lighting conditions present. Think of it as having a battery free illumination system that ensures you never lose the reticle and can quickly acquire your target in nearly all lighting scenarios.

I purchased this scope because it is the only high-end scope with parallax correction down to 10 yards (my most important criterion for air-rifle scope selection) and a 30 mm tube for light collection (which is very important when hunting after dark). As I anticipated, the image clarity is outstanding, the build is flawless, and the scope is comfortable to use due to the large eye box and forgiving eye relief. It has greater magnification than I need or want for my pellet gun, but there wasn't a lower-mag option that met the aforementioned criteria. I can say without hesitation that this scope rivals my more expensive Swarovski Z5s (of which I own 3) in every respect except one--the reticle.
Things I would have changed:I chose this particular model based on the erroneous belief that the DichroTech reticle would improve visibity in low light for rabbit hunting. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to see the reticle, especially the center dot, under such conditions. The standard Z-Plex reticles on my Swarovski Z5 and Z6s are more visible than this reticle, which is unfortunate. I recently bought (and later returned) a scope with another Meopta reticle, the ZPlus, which was similarly difficult to see. Pyramydair should stock this same scope but with the 4C reticle, which is an actual red dot, for low-light shooting.
What others should know:Pyramydair should stock this scope with the 4C reticle, which is an actual red dot, for low light purposes.

I'm writing to upgrade my prior review to 5 stars, having now used this scope extensively at the range and hunted at dusk with it. I believe that this scope is the best scope on the market at any price range for short AND long distance air gun shooting. The 10-yard adjustable parallax, 30 mm tube, and compatibility with medium (preferable to high) rings are highly desirable features, and I couldn't find a scope by another manufacturer that combines them all, whether by Zeiss, Swarovski, Leica, or even Vortex. As noted above, the image resolution, brightness, and clarity of this scope rival my Swarovski Z5 and Z6 scopes. But what really tips the scale for me is that my shooting has improved with this scope. At 25 yards using the Meopta6 and my Beeman R9, my group size has literally halved since I swapped out my prior airgun scope, a Hawke Vantage. I did not expect this result and am at a loss to explain it (was the Hawke not holding its zero?), but I'm happy to accept it. Cheers.
Things I would have changed:The Dichrotech reticle is not as bright as I'd like in low light conditions. However, it is adequate and I've proven that I can hunt rabbits after dark with it.
