Beretta APX Combo Reviews

I like almost everything about my new APX. The build quality is excellent, the sights are easy for my old eyes to see, the magazine is very easy to load and though the double action trigger is long it’s smooth and breaks clean. My gun is very accurate and it has nice point ability. At 30 feet my groups are 1” with many shots in one hole. And it’s powerful and loud. I love it.

All I can think of would be a straight trigger as that would make it easier for my reach.

The gun really surprised me. I’ve owned and shot many bb pistols (and pellet pistols) but this is one of the the best shooting and handling air pistol I’ve owned and ranks second with me only because my Dan Wesson 715 4” pellet pistol is still king of my air gun stable. For the money this gun will not disappoint you at all, it performs and feels better than several for which I’ve paid well over $100. Get the combo pack while Pyramydair still has it because I have a feeling they won’t last long in stock. Umarex did a marvelous job on this gun as is their standard. My thanks to Umarex and Pyramydair who are always there when I need them. Great job folks on a sure winner!

I really like APX blowback. Its fun to shoot and a very good value. It fits my hand very well and being a lefty its perfect for me. In reading several of the other reviews. I agree about a bit heaver spring for the blowback. however I do think that using a weak spring the APX uses less Co2 for the blowback action. A plus I would think, more shots per cylinder of Co2. Overall not a bad value as a combo package. I certinly bought it as I was looking to purchase a combo package and Pyramyd has the right combo package at the right time. If you are looking for an inexpensive combo you can't go wrong with this one

Yes, fix the sloppy slide!. The slide did not have much side to side wiggle at first but after about three mags shot thru it the slide had much more side to side wiggle to it. I also noticed that the guide pin in front of the slide has side to side movement if. It has not gotten any worse since then. however I would think a bit more care would have been taken in the design of this

I thought I'd try some Gammo .177 lead pellets with the APX, same as the BB's was my thinking............ Do Not try this....... Not Recommended. I think 1 fired. The rest did not fire and when I pulled the mag out. The others fell out on the floor (loaded 6 lead balls). I was lucky in the fact that no damage was done to the APX and it still continues to work without issue using to correct BB's

Everything! It's very accurate, the blowback is nice, and it's freaking loud which is amazing. Not to mention it's got some power behind those BB's with its high FPS!

Maybe put a stronger spring in the slide.

You will not be disappointed, very high-quality product, nice weight to it, very powerful and very accurate, looks just like the real thing, is actually quite loud with the blowback, and the package deal with all the targets 12 CO2 canisters and bbs...... for such a low price oh, definitely a great buy!

I bought the pistol only. The trigger is double action only for every shot but this is a smooth trigger allowing me to keep my aim on target center through the shot and groups are centered to the point of aim with the open sights. The 400 fps rating is modest at least when used slow fire with about 30 seconds between shots as my pistol starts off with the first 5 shots gradually increasing from about 390 fps up to 420 at about the 5th shot. From there the next 30 shots are all about 435 fps (some are as high as 440 but most are between 432 to 438 fps). After that there is a very slow drop off in power but velocity remains above 400 fps past the first 50 shots. I easily got 70 powerful shots. This is a pleasant pistol to shoot and I have 115 other air pistols to compare it to.This one is high on the list of most enjoyable.

I know I am blessed to have one that shoots to point of aim, so I would still have a windage adjustable rear sight and the ability to exchange front sights of different heights..

I always test the velocities of CO2 pistols using a slow fire rate to know the capability of the gun. Practically, that is not how most of them are fired but the rate of fire varies with each individual and also from one shooting session to the next making velocity measurement hard to establish as a hard number. Comparing the capability (300 fps vs 435 fps) at least gives some relative expectation of power and that can allow one to know which may be best for longer range shooting.

Every feature is great. Pleasure to use. Accurate and pretty realistic.

Where to start? I like everything about this pistol. Umarex and Beretta created an all around excellent replica air pistol with this APX! The slide is metal with beautifully engraved Branding and NO UGLy white WARNING text :) Instead, the warning is discrete and hidden under the trigger guard. The tri-white dot sights are great for accurate plinking. High quality polymer frame with a super comfy grip and solid Co2 system. This air pistol has a reasonable amount of power that helps shoot soup cans accurately from 10 meters(33 feet) The discharge is loud and blowback is snappy.

I am not sure that I would change anything.

Absolutely everything I expected and more. Very accurate and fun to shoot and doesn't cost a fortune for ammo. I love it and now my wife wants one.

Probably my absolute favorite co2 blowback pistol I have ever owned. Right out of the box, this thing is amazing, works perfect, never had an issue, and is amazingly accurate when out plinking. Super realistic weight and balance (really close to my real APX) and is great for teaching and educating my son about firearm safety and responsibility. Great purchase and highly recommended.

Tried, and cannot think of a single thing.

The safety isnt the same as the actual APX, but thats kinda a given and obvious, but doesnt take away from the realism and doesnt hinder snap-shooting. Also this pistol favors right handed shooters. It is not ambidextrous.

The looks and feel of this gun are great. You get about a 100 rounds on a co2. The blowback is pretty decent and shoots pretty strait. The trigger is another story.

The slide rattles but I can get past that. The DAO trigger with a full reset on this thing in a real tiger. I dremeled the trigger and inside of gaurd and polished it down to 1,200 grit wet paper its better but not much. All in all I'm glad I have it in my growing collection.

Co2 last's about 6 full 20 Rd clips 5-1/2 clips Strong full Pressure shot's would definitely recommend this product... DO NOT HESITATE BUY IT !!!!!!
