Things I liked:

I liked the way the scope was already fitted to the rings. I like the power and feel

Things I would have changed:

Should come with a 40AO CenterPoint mildot scope, although the 3-9X32 was sufficient.

What others should know:

I received this product 5 days ago. Yes, depending on the weather temperatures, and altitudes, where sea level heights are considered, this does shoot the 16.54 Predator GTO pellets close 900fps. 5 shot groups over chronograph, in 51 degrees temperatures, 25 feet above sea level, were: 866, 867, 870, 866, and 868, and 867 fps. These velocities classify this as a 900 fps air rifle. Woodys World.

    Things I liked:

Power!! I have owned this rifle for 3 years and wow! It is easily one of my favorites! The only reason why I knocked the accuracy is because the trigger is pretty horrendous out of the box but was able to reduce side to side slow by shimming it. Groups very similar to my Benjamin armada up to about 65yards. Top it with a hawke optic and you will not be disappointed.

    Things I would have changed:

Improve the trigger, and bring it back!

    What others should know:

I would just say if you stumble across one snag it!!

Still available at Sportsmans Warehouse for $169.99!!!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing!

    What others should know:

Same as Benjamin Trail NPXL .25 but with traditional stock.

    Things I liked:

Very powerful, very accurate. Shoots Predator GTO's at 915fps!!!! Scope is decent, but an upgrade is needed to get the most from this rifle. LIke traditional stock, and always a big fan of break-barrel over PCP. Have air anytime I need by cocking barrel!

    Things I would have changed:

Heavy, wish Crosman would have put sling mounts on it. WISH CROSMAN WOULD HAVE NOT DISCONTINUED IT!!!!!!!

    What others should know:

Picked up a spare one from sportsman's warehouse for $169.00, it's as accurate and powerful as my 1st one!

    Things I liked:

PLEASE CROSMAN! Bring back this rifle! Not everyone likes a thumbhole stock, it doesn't take much to change a Trail XL into a 725!

    Things I would have changed:

Add this rifle back in the line up at Crosman!

    What others should know:

I have had this air rifle for 2 years now, the most powerful break barrel .25 you can get. VERY accurate, and with GTO pellets, getting 890 fps.

    Things I liked:

Standand style rifle, same as Trail NP XL, but is a traditional style.

    Things I would have changed:

Crosman, YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT!!! Not everyone likes a thumbhole stock! Keep making the Remington 725! Maybe sell it without a scope, as the one that came with mine was not that good, but give me the option to find a .25 break barrel that shoots 900fps with Predator GTO's in a conventional stock!!!

    What others should know:

This was a very good "standard" .25 air rifle. I shot 890fps through a chrono with GTO's. It is my "Go to" pest control rifle. I have shot 1000's of pellets through it, and it has held up fine.

    Things I liked:

Well priced, very good quality .25 caliber (self contained power) air rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Smoothed all sharp edges

    What others should know:

I bought 2 of these Remington 725 vtr .25 cal air rifles at an unbeatable closeout price. Across my chronograph both were at 898-900 FPS with lead free 16.54 GTOs.. I customized 1 of the rifles by cutting 3" off of the stock & the barrel down to 12".. now the rifle is a very compact 36" total length.. with the shorter barrel it actually increased the power.. shooting 16.54 lead free GTO pellets now at 1000 FPS. Perfect FPE for medium sized game out to 75 yards.

25.cal decent power took a long time to dile in getting tight groups at 30 yards not bad for the price

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope

    What others should know:

After 10 shots I had a rattle in the gun took it apart had a broken clip a the end of the barrel could of made it stronger over all not bad for the price

    Things I liked:

The rifle itself is solid and has a good heft and power to it. I put a rabbit down at 50 Meters, so its accurate enough and has the power to do the job for small game.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is flimsy. It moves from side to side. I took it apart and stuck a washer in one side to stabilize it. Its solid now.

    What others should know:

The scope that comes with it is sh*t. It broke after about two cans of rounds. Like 400 to 500 pellets in and it came undone. Wont hold zero and L/R turrets wont turn. Get a nice UTG scope to go with it.

    Things I liked:

Well it was a nice shooting rifle until pictanny rail detached from the barrell after maybe 50 shots. Sent back for exchange and I'll see what happens with new one.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe attach the pictanny rail with a better way.

    Things I liked:

Well built, accurate and very powerful. It's a real bargain for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

As it's a bit heavy a mounting rail for a bipod and a swivel screw for a sling would be handy. The "adjustable" trigger isn't all that great. I had to dial it almost all the way for any noticable difference, and it's still pretty stiff.

    What others should know:

The scope isn't as horrible as others have claimed. It's OK. Fairly bright and it does the job, but occasionally it can loose zero. After a couple hundred rounds mine is still holding up fine. It does take some strength to cock the rifle but once you find the technique, it's not too bad. All in all, I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple to operate and powerful pest control airgun.

    What others should know:

Got this rifle about 3wks ago and after around 400 shots the damn scope mount fell off the rifle, WTF! Called PA and they said they'd replace the rifle. I decided to take it to a gun smith instead to have the mount put on right wasn't going to chance another rifle that the mount falls off. Also getting a trigger upgrade too

    Things I liked:

Great shooting gun, very powerful and accurate, need to keep an eye on the pivot pin, it can back out. I used Loctite Blue on all the screws. By far my most powerful break-barrel, 30 fpe no exaggeration.

    Things I would have changed:

Pivot pin needs to get addressed.

    What others should know:

Just secure the pivot pin and address the trigger like with any Crosman break-barrel. Then hold on, thing thing is a beast.

    What others should know:

Got this rifle about 2wks ago and after around 400 shots the damn scope fell into my lap!!! Called PA and the told me to ship it back for a replacement. My thinking is "They're just going to send me another one that may do the same thing." So I decided to keep the rifle and remount the scope rail with JB weld and see how that works, let y'all know how it goes in about a month.

    Things I liked:

Got this rifle yesterday and was really surprised it hits so hard, put a UTG 3x9x40 and at 45yrds it's "pretty" accurate, 1/2" to 1" grouping will do better with a smother trigger the Benjamin 27 grain pellets are accurate out to 45yrds with "my" rifle, yours may be different...the trigger sux big time and the stock is kinda skinny for my hand. A good trigger will make this rifle a tack driver

    Things I would have changed:

Put a better trigger on it the one it comes with is ridiculous and there was no way to adjust it to what I like a scope with mil-dots would be nice

    What others should know:

Better trigger and scope with mil-dots... Could someone pls tell me if there's a trigger kit I can get for this rifle and where to purchase it. Thank You
