No small game or pesky cans will be able to withstand a shot from the Remington Model 725 VTR Breakbarrel Air Rifle. Pushing pellets at 900fps, deliver 30 FPE of devastating knockdown power in .25 caliber one shot at a time.
Sporting a tried and true all-weather synthetic stock inspired by the Remington 783 rifle, the 725 VTR uses a powerful nitro gas-piston powerplant to keep your pellets flying fast. Featuring an adjustable 2-stage trigger, you will have no trouble finding your ideal trigger pull with a report dampened by a fully-shrouded barrel.
Each Remington 725 VTR includes a long Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail that readily accepts the included CenterPoint® 3-9x32mm Scope that provides varied magnification and clear sight picture when aiming downrange.
If you want to bring .25 caliber power set into a solid breakbarrel system, pick up the Remington 725 VTR and drop any backyard prey you choose--paper or pest.

What Others Should KnowSame as Benjamin Trail NPXL .25 but with traditional stock.
Very powerful, very accurate. Shoots Predator GTO's at 915fps!!!! Scope is decent, but an upgrade is needed to get the most from this rifle. LIke traditional stock, and always a big fan of break-barrel over PCP. Have air anytime I need by cocking barrel!

PLEASE CROSMAN! Bring back this rifle! Not everyone likes a thumbhole stock, it doesn't take much to change a Trail XL into a 725!

What Others Should KnowI have had this air rifle for 2 years now, the most powerful break barrel .25 you can get. VERY accurate, and with GTO pellets, getting 890 fps.
Standand style rifle, same as Trail NP XL, but is a traditional style.
Things I Would Have ChangedCrosman, YOU ARE MISSING THE POINT!!! Not everyone likes a thumbhole stock! Keep making the Remington 725! Maybe sell it without a scope, as the one that came with mine was not that good, but give me the option to find a .25 break barrel that shoots 900fps with Predator GTO's in a conventional stock!!!
What Others Should KnowThis was a very good "standard" .25 air rifle. I shot 890fps through a chrono with GTO's. It is my "Go to" pest control rifle. I have shot 1000's of pellets through it, and it has held up fine.

What Others Should KnowI bought 2 of these Remington 725 vtr .25 cal air rifles at an unbeatable closeout price. Across my chronograph both were at 898-900 FPS with lead free 16.54 GTOs.. I customized 1 of the rifles by cutting 3" off of the stock & the barrel down to 12".. now the rifle is a very compact 36" total length.. with the shorter barrel it actually increased the power.. shooting 16.54 lead free GTO pellets now at 1000 FPS.
Perfect FPE for medium sized game out to 75 yards.

Power!! I have owned this rifle for 3 years and wow! It is easily one of my favorites! The only reason why I knocked the accuracy is because the trigger is pretty horrendous out of the box but was able to reduce side to side slow by shimming it. Groups very similar to my Benjamin armada up to about 65yards. Top it with a hawke optic and you will not be disappointed.
