Cost, weight, accuracy. These shoot great with my Gamo Silent Cat. Most accurate grouping and hit with a wallop.

    What others should know:

Might be something better out there if you’re in competition, but for everyday use and knock down power, can’t go wrong.

    Things I liked:

I tested Crosman HPs and Pointeds, Daisy Wadcutters and these - all 7.X g - with my Daisy 880 benched at 50ft and these stood out for consistently making the best groups and the most coming in under an inch. PyramidAir by far had best price for these. Even got one free for buying three (4 total). Wasn't sure if that was some Gamo promo but i didn't ask any questions - a very nice surprise. Even w/o that, PA still had best price and had them in stock. Shipped fast, too.

    Things I would have changed:

    No complaints at all

    Things I liked:

GAMO Hunter seems to be the best pellet I've tried in the Beeman R9 .177. Pyramid included an extra can of pellets even though I missed requesting the sale/special they were having - Thanks!

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I'm shooting a Beeman R9 .177 air rifle sighting in at 20 yards. I've experimented with many pellet shapes and weights. For my gun the domed shape pellet exceeds performance of pointed pellets, hollow points or wad cutters. I do not get flyers with domed. The Gamo Hunter at 7.56 grain gives me flat shooting and consistency to 25-30 yards. I estimate the pellet is flying 900 fps according to writeups about the R9 and pellet weight. Pointed Gamo Masterpoints of the exact weight seem to penetrate 7-10 pages farther when shot into an old book. The pointed pellet does expand but it's more like point deformation not mushrooming. For pest control I reccomend the Hunters, the channel the dome makes seems it would produce a quicker kill and assures I can hit my intended target. I can hit a quarter at 25 yards pretty easily - not shooting from a rest but prone or from a chair. I stick with one ammo as switching can mean fussing with the scope and refiguring hold-over at longer yardages.

    Things I liked:

Well-made pellets, consistent shape uniformity. The domed pellets perform well for the type of target shooting I do, primarily metal cans and pendulum targets. May seem insignificant to some, but I like the small tins that contain the pellets. I find them aesthetically appealing and the smaller tins are easier to open and close than the large ones.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

Receiving 4 tins for the price of 3 is a good thing.

    Things I would have changed:

For the money spent... Nothing! Alright in my book.

    Things I liked:

The dome head design, 7.56 grain weight. Accuracy and velocity. No damaged pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing.

    What others should know:

I conducted an accuracy test and a chronograph test in 5 shot groups each. This pellet was shot with my older .177 Gamo Hunter 220 on a clear sunny day. Temperature was 61 degrees, with a 10 mph wind. Land altitude is 400 feet above sea level. The accuracy test was shot at a 3 inch target with all shots impacting in a 1 inch pattern in the upper half of the 3 inch target, no fliers. The 5 pellet chronograph was conducted over my Competition Electronics Digital ProChrono. The results were: 898, 907, 901, 906, and 904 fps. Average was 903 fps. Under the same weathe4 conditions today, this dome pellet averaged 14 fps faster than the pointed version, but accuracy and grouping was equal. The Domes one inch group impacted 1 inch above the Pointed. This pellet was primarily ordered/purchased with the .177 Gamo Hunter 220 in mind. I would purchase this lite pellet again. Buy a chronograph. Woodys World.

    Things I liked:

I like and prefer the weight and the fact it is a domed pellet. This pellet performed with better than satisfactory results when shot from the 4 air rifles that were used in this review. In my opinion the value is good for the 250 count, otherwise I would not purchase and complain. Domed pellets are my favorites and given a choice that is my pick. In my opinion the domed pellets are about as equal as the flathead match pellets. I shoot these pellets in the 4 air rifles that I used for this review. Each air rifle in this review had 5 shot groups each from 70' away at a 12"x12" target with a 1" bullseye, my standard for target practice and scope sighting/setting. The air rifles used in this review are: Gamo Hunter "220", Beeman RS2 Silver Kodiak, Gamo Big Cat 1250, and Ruger Air Magnum, all with upgraded scopes. The temperature was 40-45 degrees with calm to no winds, mostly cloudy. This pellet I feel was a good purchase for 250 count.

    Things I would have changed:

Maybe the skirt end. Some pellets needed a little more pressing into the breech when loading, not a major concern, but noticeable.

    What others should know:

These pellets were chronographed over a Competition Electronics Prochrono with the following results: Gamo Hunter "220" averaged 913 fps with a low of 908 fps and a high of 918 fps with an extreme spread of 10 fps. Beeman RS2 averaged 887 fps with a low of 854 fps and a high of 910 fps for an extreme spread of 56 fps. Gamo Big Cat 1250 averaged 941 fps with a low of 935 fps and a high of 946 fps with an extreme spread of 11 fps. The Ruger Air Magnum averaged 1086 fps with a low of 1053 fps and a high of 1143 fps for an extreme spread of 90 fps. Even though the Ruger exceeded 1050 fps, the accuracy was as good as the others. I liked these pellets and would use and purchase them again. I recommend these pellets, they work.

    Things I liked:

I guess the tin, it has a screw top. Always nice to see, I threw out the pellets and am reusing the tin.

    Things I would have changed:

Consistency would be nice. Some practically fall out the barrel and others are so big they jam. Wicked headache, horribly inconsistent.

    What others should know:

DO NOT PUT THESE IN A LOW POWER GUN. Jammed the barrel in my autoair II and jam in the mag of my 1077. They do shoot OK out of my 1377 and torpedo, but not consistent. In the co2 guns they are way more hassle than they're worth.

    Things I liked:

Reasonably inexpensive ammo, nice packaging, clean pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    Quality control!

    What others should know:

I've found these pellets to be excellent in the past-a hard-hitting and accurate pellet. Recently I have made bulk purchases and found the pellet diameters to be unpredictable. Some pellets were large and difficult to chamber, where other pellets actually fell right through the bore! This could have caused damage to the rifle had I not noticed and dry fired the springer. P.A. was naturally helpful in the matter, but as my "issue" was past their customary replacement period, their hands were tied. They suggested I deal with Gamo directly, I found this to be a waste of time. Gamo gave me their standard concern about my problem, but their suggestion to solve the issue was for me to purchase more product from them at retail price, and sending the defective ammo to them at my cost. P.A. tried to make me happy in a business- like manner, but Gamo left me feeling insulted by their offer. Let the buyer beware! Some of these pellets are great and others are not., could this explain their pric

I get good accuracy using the Gamo Hunter pellets in my .177 cal rifles and they are very cost effective.

    Things I would have changed:

Perhaps sell them in a larger tin, maybe of 500 instead of 250?

    What others should know:

I find the Gamo Hunter pellets to be pretty uniform and clean. They go where they are aimed with very few "flyers".
