these pellets were very consistent. i was shooting them through a benjamin discovery and could get more pellets in the bullseye at 25 yards than even h&n barracuda match and kodiak match. however the latter two grouped better groups. i think the fly aways may have been me or the weight of the pellet. this pellet is accurate in my discovery at 30 yards and at 40 yards has about a two inch drop, but make no mistake at 20-30 yards it will do damage on a mangey alley cat.

great pellet in the discovery for overall accuracy and i assume in any gun shooting 1000fps.

I needed more knock down and with the wieght of this pellet I thought it would be the way to go, but when I shot this pellet to sight it in my Quest 1000 did not like it. I got about a 3 inch group at 15 yards. That is not good enough in my book, But when I shot this pellet out of a slower gun the Daisy 130A it shot a 1/2 group at 15 yards, so it goes to show that some guns just will not shoot some pellets.

The tin needs a screw on top

If you have more than one air gun in the same cal. give them a try, if not give them a try anyway it is only money you make more tomorrow.

Grouped well out of my 700 fps Chinese break barrel gun.

Not sure why, but they are rather difficult to load in my gun. I really had to wiggle & force them in. These are my first hollow point style pellet, so maybe this is normal. Also, looking at recovered pellets, I noticed my flat pointed ones all looked to hit head on, but these appeared to hit sideways at impact. the holes were larger, however, and they still grouped well. Have not had the opportunity to try on game yet.

If your going to buy a hollow point this is DEFINATLY the way to go.

Its relativly soft lead and yet strong, pellets hold their shape pretty good while in the tin and/or a pocket. Very good consistency between pellets. Its .178 cal to take full advantage of your rifling.

I shoot these in my Gamo Hunter Hurricane 1250 at 1,100 fps, they litterally almost rip starlings in half at 25 yards. They even hit when i miss! Shot too low, hit the ground, bounced up, knocked the bird dead.

To begin with, these pellets are some of the most popular. The expansive cup really does wonders. The other day I did a test with all of the pellets I owned and these were by far the most effective in terms of impact. I was shooting at a plastic vitamin water bottle and it left a really mean exit wound. Also I fired a few shots at a 2x4 and these made the biggest hole. You should try them.

I needed a pellet that hit hard, and what I was using was a pointed head type. Well it will not work with Squirrels! They take off like it never hit them and if it's a good head shoot they still seem to get going! I saw the crow-magnum and thought "can this get the result I need? Lets see" I shoot the first squirrel and it went down fast, and then I took a second and again down it went wow! I even took a pellet out of a squirrel and saw that it really expanded allot not sure the size but allot bigger than I started with.

Made my RWS Mdl 48 shoot like a dream. I was using RWS Superdome 8.3gr and this was jumping around 1/2" at long ranges of 40 yards plus. Adding just .5 gr with this 8.8 gr tunes her down to hitting each other's edge at 40. Last three shot could be coverd with a dime. Power WHOW! 1x4" board took out a hole about 7.5 mm, 1/2 wide about a inch and 1/2 long. This thing will knock the dust out of game.

Let me tell you that the .177 Crow-Magnum is an awesome pellet! I never shoot a Crow, but let me tell you it can take a Squirrel out in a hart beat! It will bring down a varmint in a second. By the way it went from a .177 to a .22 Cal when I retrieved it from a squirrel.

These pellets hit like a bomb. I put these in my anics skif a-3000 and it would blow holes through bars of soap at about 10 ft. the exits would be about 1 1/2 times the size of the entry.

these pellets kept jamming in my repeater. that sucked.

if you want to cause damage, and have a rifle, use these.

These are high quality pellets that shoot very well. I shoot them from my Gamo CFX, and they shoot at 840fps - actually about 50 fps faster than the lighter Crosman premier lights for some reason. VERY accurate and consistant. I've taken many chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. This pellet is my first choice in that gun!

They don't really expand in an animal - I've recovered them from various animals to check for expansion and can confirm that they really don't expand, regardless of where they strike the animal.

The shape doesn't lend itself to longer range accuracy...it's likely to lose velocity very quickly, but is an excellent choice out to 25 yards or so.

aimming for center mass is much easier than the head it really expands to about a 1/4 in limited penitration

Very accurate. Hits like a Mack truck. It's my favorite pellet so far, litterally cuts a hole through your target.

why change a good thing?

I use these pellets in my Beeman R10, shots average 850fps measured with my chronograph. They give me the highest energy when compared to the kodiak (to heavy, lower velocity) and the silver sting (lighter but only about 10 fps faster with the R10) .
