Make your own exploding targets with Big Blast Target Inflator Caps!

Some airgunners want to shoot quietly in their backyard so they don’t startle their neighbors. They use suppressors, and lower calibers to be as unobtrusive as possible.

This is not the product for them!

With the Big Blast Target Inflator, turn regular cola and water bottles into detonating targets! Simply add the special blast cap to the top of an empty bottle and pressurize it with a bike pump. Once the bottle is filled with air, your target is ready to go! Now when you shoot a bottle it won’t just quietly tip over--it will EXPLODE!

If you’re looking for an accessory that’s thankfully NOT backyard friendly, pick up a set and burst some bottles!

Safety considerations: 2-liter bottles are rated at 150 psi, but as your bottle will be used, it can have defects and imperfections allowing it to rupture at lower pressures. To inflate safely, cover the bottle you are inflating with a rug or heavy bath towel. Gloves and eye protection are a must while inflating and handling the pressurized bottle. Never put any flammable gases or flammable liquid or projectiles in the bottle. Stay back at least 30 feet when shooting. Never remove the cap while the bottle is pressurized, and never reuse a damaged bottle cap. Keep children and pets away from pressurized bottles.

Things I liked:

These are great. Our neighborhood is in competition to create the loudest noise. This does it. Very loud. But we are in a very rural area. Our caps don't leak. Using a .22 pellet gun.

Things I would have changed:

Nothing

What others should know:

The only problem I see is that this product will tempt you to make unreasonable purchases of bottles. Or cause you to dig through the neighbors' trash to find some.

Things I would have changed:

Make a cap that does not leak.

What others should know:

All caps that came in the package leak and do not hold pressure. A waste of money

Things I liked:

These are great! They make nice reactive targets, but keep in mind that bottles inflated at 75+ PSI are easily louder than a powder shotgun. As result of a visit by the friendly police department, I now inflate them to just 50 PSI so I don't become a target of nuisance calls by the Karens of the neighborhood.

What others should know:

DO NOT shoot inflated soda bottles with BB guns nor should you use any CO2 pellet guns, because they will bounce right back at you. I have high-power PCP guns, but the first thing I used to shoot inflated bottles with was my "Steel Storm" BB guns and it sent a spay of BBs right back at me. The PCP rifles demolish the bottles as expected. Inflating bottles to the recommended 80 PSI will cause nice friendly police officers to magically appear. ;) (they just asked me to tone it down so I don't irritate the local Karen)

  • Jody from USA asked:

What is the safe psi rating for these on soda bottles. And are they safe. Thanks

    • John from USA answered:

I pump mine to 80-90 psi. Plastic soda bottles are rated to withstand 110 psi safely. Always inflate them inside the net/mesh bag that is included and wear safety glasses. John, Woodys World CEO.

Could i shoot these at 10 yards safely

    • Tyler Patner from USA answered:

Yes, minimum distance for safe use is 10 yards (30 ft.)
