The Ataman M2 platform is famed for its incredible build and ability to put shots on target again and again. Now the Russian gunsmiths welcome Ataman veterans and newcomers alike to a shooting experience only Ataman can provide with the Ataman M2 Ergonomic. Built on the proven M2 platform, the Ergonomic features the highly-accurate Lothar Walther Barrel, sturdy sidelever action, and 2-way adjustable match trigger set into a contoured thumbhole stock so comfortable it warrants the Ergonomic namesake.
A quick glance of the Ergonomic shows Ataman’s focus on building a PCP rifle with everything airgunners want from its smooth sidelever action to its aircraft-grade aluminum cylinder. This tried and true design provides you with more shooting time and less reloads thanks to an integrated regulator in its 4,350 PSI (300 BAR) cylinder designed to deliver incredible shot-consistency. Above the barrel rests a long Weaver/Picatinny rail for choosing your preferred optics to zero in on prey.
Available in multiple calibers, the Ergonomic achieves the ideal muzzle energy for shooting far-off targets and hunting small to medium game. In 177 caliber shooters can achieve 22 ft. lbs. of energy. .22 caliber offers 38 ft. lbs. of energy and up to 45 accurate shots per fill, while the .25 caliber version delivers 55 fpe and 35 shots. In .30 caliber, you'll get 20 regulated shots per fill with 95.8 fpe. The .357 caliber option sends up to 11 pellets flying at a devastating 144 ft. lbs. of power.
These features add up to a PCP rife ready to make even more fans of this proven platform by a brand renowned for their high quality, exceptional reliability and cutting-edge technologies.

I have a M2R Carbine that I purchased new rom PA 2 years ago and is functioning fine. Recently it has begun loosing air overnight and will run down to 0 in a couple of days. Tech support was not helpful as the availability to repair technicians seems to be a problem. Does any know if there is a repair video or diagram for O-Ring/seal replacement for this rifle? Or and alternative air gun gunsmith in NE Ohio? Thanks
A regulator set at 150 bar doesn't seem like it could sling a pellet at 980 fps... so the question I should have asked is: Can the regulator be adjusted to a specific setting, and if not, can it be removed completely to say run from an outside regulator as if tethered?
I can tell Mark your a bright one, get that commission yet? 150ft-lbs, yeah real powerful when there's guns doing 2, 3,4,5 and 6 times that and dropping game at hundreds of yards.
Check out XP Airguns, Or PBBA Airguns, Or Western Big Bores. Stay away from Atamans, there junk, my buddy had 3 and they all had problems, scope base machining off, triggers falling apart, shredding "o" rings, sharp edges on fill port, metal shavings and corrosion Inside Air reservoir, leaks, mag Issues. Furthermore the mags can't even hold any decent slugs and the rifling Is only meant for lightweight pellets. There overpriced paper shooters when they work that's all. You want a real nice Russian gun, then Get a Edgun. You want Power then go with a Texan, or a custom made pcp which can be bought for $1400-$2000 and will do a sub 1 inch group at 100 yards and still stack at 200 yards and beyond with slugs designed for hunting that flatten out.
HAHAHA 150FT-LBS IS NOT POWERFUL AT ALL!! What are you smoking bro?! That means at 30 yards you will have less than 5 inches of penetration on flesh and not nearly enough energy for large game which Is what this rifle Is advertised for. Coyotes and small to medium game sure but not beyond 30-40 yards. For that price you could have a custom American made pcp that would do 350ft-lbs In .357, and In .45 and up Would do 700-1100 foot pounds!
The Ataman is very powerful. With the reg at 150 bar it can shoot at 980 FPS. The regulator is factory set, You can not remove it or adjust it easily. A remote regulator will not work without major internal modification. Very costly. It would be all custom work.
What is the pressure the regulator is set at?
Usually around 150 bar.

I have the .177 caliber-wood stock. The gun is very well made in comparison to many of the others I own. Solid construction with soild material and well machined. Not soft material like FX uses. Shoots very accurately and consistently even after sitting for months.
Things I would have changed:Magazines that were a little less expensive. An externally adjustable regulator or a gauge to help you set it.
What others should know:This airgun is pretty easy to work on and a very solid design. It's accurate and consistent. The barrel is very solid and has little to no flex. The metal used is high grade aluminum. It's a little different to take apart, due to all the pins that hold things in and together. But not difficult once you've done it once or twice. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you buy one.
