*Each shell is loaded with one steel BB.

One of the most desired revolvers is now available as a CO2 BB gun. You can tell a lot from our pictures, but just wait til you pick this up! You'll swear you're holding the firearm. The working ejector rod, the use of cartridge shells, the full barrel underlug and swing-out cylinder really bring this to life.

Some of the greatest gun writers/historians have described the Colt Python as the "Rolls Royce of Colt revolvers" and "the best revolver in the world." They're right -- and now you can own this same handgun as a BB gun.

You'll want to pick up extra cartridges and maybe an extra speedloader so you can load up before you go to the range.

The Colt Python CO2 BB revolver is compatible with Dan Wesson brand revolver shells, however you will notice a drop in velocity due to the smaller size of the Dan Wesson shells.

    Things I liked:Very realistic.
Things I would have changed:I would have given it 5 stars but there is a slight wobble in the barrel. The barrel seems to be pinned to the gun so I don’t know as it can be tightened or if its just the nature of the beast. I don’t think the looseness in the barrel is enough to affect accuracy much, but it is annoying since it can be felt when handling the gun.
What others should know:A target pistol it is not, but it is fun to shoot.

Things I liked:Nice trigger especially in single action, it became quite accurate after about a 200rnd break in, at 20yrds I'm now getting a 2 inch 5 shot group with a avanti BBs.
Things I would have changed:make it able to fire pellet's and give it a rifled not a brass smoothbore, the worst thing about it is the cylinder sometimes gets in a bind, when the cylinder opens the back edge is hitting part of frame just above the trigger and its started knocking off the finish around the edge of the cylinder, the reason its doing this is the cylinder has to much forward/rearward movement on rod that it spins on, if you make sure the cylinder is all the way forward before you open it, it won't do it ( it helps to point it downward )if I can get the cylinder off I might can fix the problem with a washer.
What others should know: it has brass smoothbore, If I remember correctly it said you should get like 60 shots per co2 fill, it's more like 40-45 good shots than it gets kinda weak. and the accuracy started out pretty bad, but after 200rnds it got a lot better, I think the shells need to break in to get the velocity consistent,

Things I liked:The overall look and feel is spot on the real model which I placed side by side.
Things I would have changed:The silk screening on the barrel and do an engraving.
What others should know:These shells are not compatible with other bras shell models like Dan Wesson.

    • jim from Canada asked:

Does this ship to canada and get over the border okay? Can anyone who's ordered one in canada verify?

      • stephen from Canada:

I have bought many guns from PA with no problems when they say it will ship to canada. I live on the west coast and it takes 7 days to arrive.

      • Jack from Canada:

I ordered one and it arrived in Canada without problem

      • Dan the Man from USA:

Pyramyd says it can ship to Canada, so you'll be fine.

    • Ted from Canada asked:

This is not a question but it is a statement...As in the description it states that Dan Wesson shells are compatible, which is ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT!!! JUST BECAUSE IT FITS IN THE HOLE DOESN'T MEAN IT'S COMPATIBLE!!! MY CAR KEYS FIT IN A SEWER GRATE BUT DOES THAT MEAN THEY ARE COMPATIBLE??? NO!!! As it's not recommended to drop your keys into a sewer grate, also do not use Dan Wesson shells in your Colt Python!!! The Colt shells are bigger than the Dan Wesson and this allows for gaps in the CO2 delivery system which could cause damage to the seals....Whoever stated that doesn't have a clue what they are talking about. This gun has a self contained CO2 system which means you can't just replace the mag to fix it, you need to replace the gun to fix it. Just my two cents...and I own a lot of air guns as a collector and enthusiast, far too many to list here.

      • JAMES from USA:

Shells for the Dan Wesson are smaller in diameter and will flop around in the cylinder that is larger in the Colt Python!

      • Val from USA:

Why would seals get damaged if one uses smaller shells in the revolver?

    • Charles from USA asked:

      Can you shoot pellets?

      • Ted from Canada:

I can shoot pellets, yes, but I need to use a scope because they are really small!! HAHAHAHA... and, not with this gun, it's a 4.5mm bb shooter!!!
