Umarex Glock 17 CO2 BB Blowback .177 BB gun
Umarex is well known for rolling out ultra realistic replica airguns, and the Gen3 Glock 17 BB gun is no exception! Bearing the same trademarks and logos of the firearm, this replica is so realistic, it would make Gaston Glock proud.
The drop free magazine operates off of a single 12 gram CO2 cartridge and holds 18 BBs. The blowback action gives you a satisfying feedback when shooting. Take aim with the traditional Glock sights and send BBs down range at velocities up to 365 fps.
The Glock 17 is known for being extremely reliable and is popular among both Law Enforcement and civilian shooters alike. It's finally time to grab a .177 BB replica of this iconic pistol, and find out for yourself what "Glock Perfection" really means!

Very realistic in looks, weight and performance. Comfortable to shoot. Very good sights. Pretty close replica of a real Glock 17. Although Blowback is partial, the feel is realistic. Accuracy was better than I expected. Performance was excellent. Good value for the price.
Things I would have changed:Full blowback would have been better for realism, instead of partial. The ability to load multliple BBs into the breach before shooting was distressing. Once you begin pulling the trigger you need to follow through. Relaxing the trigger and beginning another pull to shoot will result in a second BB loading up and shooting with the first BB loaded. Trigger is rough to pull (not smooth). A full field-takedown feature would have been nice. Otherwise, there is'nt anything else I would have changed.
What others should know:The most important point that drove me to make the purchase of this Glock is that Umarex's Gen 3 model is the only model of the Glock they produce that was advertized at 365 fps out of the box. The only comparison I had was my Air Venturi ISSC M22, which handles more comfortably. All the other models so far of the Umarex Glock shoot at about 320 fps. The sights on the G17 are very visible with a white dot on the front sight and the rear sight notch is bracketed in white. This is a significant improvement in aiming accuracy. Performance was very good: Using Black Diamond BBs best performance was: Hi=403 fps, Lo=373 fps, Average=381.8 fps, SD=10.1 fps. Of the 4 Glocks offered by Umarex, I would recommend this one on performance alone. I currently am on the waiting list for the Gen 5, which is a belt fed pellet pistol similar to my Sig Sauer P320. The Gen 5 promises to be the best of the Umarex Glock line IMHO.

Look, feel, weight (with loaded magazine in) is very good compared to real gen 3 G17. Even trigger pull with no BBs in inserted magazine in magazine well, feels good. (but with a huge caveat to be discussed in the: Things I would change section). Fits my Blackhawk Serpa level 2 retention holster perfect. Feel of a draw out of this holster is spot on to the real thing.
Things I would have changed:If you are looking for a training gun with realistic partial trigger reset for quick follow up shots, this is *not* the gun you are looking for. Trigger pull with BBs in magazine changes as a BB has to stage from magazine to chamber, which happens *only on a full travel trigger pull*, and because its doing this, trigger is janky feeling. If you do a partial pull on the trigger like you would for a quick double tap (like with a real G17), the gun will release compressed air and action will cycle, but no BB comes out. At first I thought I could not hit a target to save my life on follow-up shots, because I *only* do partial reset trigger pulls with a real G17. I did not realize no BB was staging because I was not using full trigger travel on follow-up shots. Doing a partial reset feels good, almost like the real thing. Air comes out, action cycles, but no BB shoots. In fact, if you tilt the gun down after, it will roll out of the barrel.
What others should know:You will not become a Jerry Miculek practicing with this gun. 1st draw from holster is good, other than that, fuh-ged-about-it.
