Things I liked: Light weight and very accurate for the money! So far the Air Arms Falcon .177 Cal, 4.52mm, 7.33 Grains, Domed, pellets seem to be the most accurate.
Things I would have changed: Nothing.
What others should know: If you want to continue using the open sights, in case the scope gets knocked out of alignment you will need the Leapers Accushot 1" Rings, High, 9.5-11.5mm Dovetail. THe Medium Rings will not allow you to mount the scope. The front of the scope hits the rear open sight when sighted in. BTW, the Medium Rings will work fine if you remove the rear sight or adjust the rear sight to its lowest position.
Things I liked: A TRUE WINNER. LIGHT WEIGHT AND VERY ACCURATE. I GOT ABOUT 4 MAGAZINES IN 60 DEGREEE WEATHER WITHOUT DIFFICULTY.
Things I would have changed: WOULD LIKE TO SEE SLING MOUNTS.
What others should know: PAY THE $20.00 TO HAVE THE SCOPE MOUNTED AND ZEROED. IT IS WORTH IT. TOOK ME ONLY A FEW MINUTES TO FINE TUNE THE SCOPE TO MY EYE, RATHER THEN SPENDING THE WHOLE AFTERNOON ZEROING IT IN.
Things I liked: The 1077 closely matches my 10-22 in size, weight and feel. I can play/practice with this all day long for pennies instead of tens of dollars (even if I could find .22 rim fire in quantities that I could afford). After play or practice I can simply wipe it down since pellet guns do not need a lot of cleaning or lubrication. With or without the included scope, the accuracy at 10 yards is spot-on.
Things I would have changed: For the price I paid at Pyramyd Air, I would not or could not think of a thing to change. If you want more, then scan the catalog and buy a higher end pellet gun.
What others should know: I am relatively new to air gun sports. I have already purchased several other medium to high end pellet guns earlier but I REGRET THAT I DID NOT GET THIS ONE FIRST. I can master the techniques needed for accuracy much easier with this one than with the others. Now the others are easier to master once I understand and can perform the techniques needed for accuracy. First time air gunners should seriously consider this as their first choice for air guns. Then once you feel confident in you acquired skills, then go high end crazy.
will the Crosman 1077 work for pigeons?
Is this 1077 powerful enough to take down small game at short range..like a squirrel?
It is not powerful enough to be recommended for that usage.
how many shots until i have to change the co2
There is a lot of variables in this. For the most part you will see a decrease in velocity after about 4 clips. This does not take into account many variables including temp that will greatly change this approximation.
