Things I liked: Awesome scope, very clear thru out all magnifications. Mil-dots and cross-hairs very fine. Side focus very accurate to range finder. A lot of scope within 14". I added the sunshade to reduce glare. Turrets for windage and elevation are audible clicks and resettable to 0.Nice scope lens covers that actually snap closed. Mounted on a Savage 93 17HMR, I'm shooting golf balls at 100 yds.(ground squirrel head shots) and at max magnification that's a 3.5ft. field of view. No need for the spotting scope. Etched reticle is a big plus.

Things I would have changed: include the sun shade

What others should know: The recoil of 22LR and 17HMR rifles is next to nothing. This scope is well built, and a lot of magnification in a compact, heavy (2lbs) package. This replaced a BSA 10-24x50 scope on the HMR which was 16" long. As with all scopes at highest magnification, cheek weld and eye placement is critical to view scope clearly. Add cheek riser and adjust scope on mounts for proper eye relief. Great quality for a great price, highly recommend.

Things I liked: Excellent scope for the money! Great service from pyramydair as usual! Couldnt ask for better glass for the money. Its 30m so it lets in a lot of light. Using a marauder 25 Gen 2, I sighted in at 50 yards, then back at 25, 75, 100 yards for a shot card! The trajectory reticle helps you put your lead where it needs to go! The turrets are solid, easy to reset to zero! The side focus wheel is almost a spot on range finder. Tested using range finder and was very close! I like that you can add a sun shade to front, which I did and it helps out a lot on the bright sunny days! Cant say enough about this scope. Was just going to use it for target practice, but now its a full time hunter and I couldnt be happier!

Things I would have changed: Nothing! It would make it more expensive!

What others should know: Get the sun shade right off from the start! If your going to just hunt then I would suggest gettting the mil dot instead of the trajectory recticle. The trajectory recticle takes up a lot of the scope sight, but is awesome just the same. I will be buying another one very soon!
