Things I liked:

Works great, 15 extra rounds that can be loaded very quickly

Things I would have changed:

I don't think that there is anything that you can change on it

What others should know:

I get about 30 full shots out of my mags. I don't know if I should be getting more but they are 30 great shots and a lot of fun.

    Things I liked:

So far, so good... I bought an extra mag. The little catch to allow you to load BBs is great....mag says 15 BBs... works best with 12.... be careful with the loading spring... take your time and it should be OK. Mine have both functioned as advertised, but a lot of people seem to be having trouble... I haven't.....yet!

    Things I would have changed:

Devise a tool that will tighten CO2 cartridges that isn't a big, old allen wrench... and figure a place to store it... maybe a buttstock compartment.

    What others should know:

Just take your time loading and be careful with the spring follower... don't snap the follower and you should be OK. I've only had mine for a short while so it is difficult to make a full assessment, but I am putting trust and confidence in Pyramid that they will back their product.

    Things I liked:

    Heavy; steel, shoots well.

    Things I would have changed:

Lighten up spring. Until I used this a bit, I could hardly managed to pull back the keeper to the provided notch.

    Things I liked:

It fits and attaches to the rifle like it should and the piercer is made of steel.

    Things I would have changed:

It is much too heavy and is noticeably larger than the real mag. It probably would be better made of polymer instead of Zamak or whatever alloy it is. Mostly though I think it should work.

    What others should know:

All the gas blows past the valve in about 10 seconds. The brass valve is chipped like someone tried to remove it, although the packaging did not appear to be tampered with. I don't know how it could possibly have passed quality control and yet somehow I ended up with it.

    Things I liked:

Junk. Who was the brainiac that designed a metal box magazine with a plastic follower? Used this factory magazine ONCE and after about seven or eight BB' feeds it failed. It took me several minutes to figure out its failure was the direct result of a broken PLASTIC follower. Now my MI Carbine is decoration in my "Man Cave."

    Things I would have changed:

Redesign feed mechanism and install a metal follower. Simple solution to a vexing problem.

    What others should know:

All in all, "fun" rifle, true replica, a unique collectors addition at a reasonable price. Too bad it has such a critical design flaw, which all but destroyed it's value for the money. If it does feed, it doesn't work and renders itself virtually useless, if not worthless. Good conversation starter as a wall decoration.

    Things I would have changed:

Hold more BB, lighten it up, better seal

    What others should know:

Use the allen wrench when putting CO2 capsule in if you don't you will lose a lot of CO2 There needs to be a better type of seal

    Things I liked:

Extra cartridge for the gun. The follower can be locked into the "load" position while you load the BBs. It comes apart easily by removing pins to disassemble.

    Things I would have changed:

The follower spring on one (I bought 2) would not compress completely and made it impossible to load, the follower could not lock into the load position. I had to remove the spring and cut out a portion until it retracted enough to be able to load the magazine. Fortunately it did not result in the follower not being able to push all the BBs out of the magazine.

    What others should know:

I bought an extra one when I first bought the gun when it first came out. It worked for a while and the follower broke on the spare and then on the one that came with the gun. I'm hoping these are better and and do not brake. I drilled a hole through the follower and used brass rod and epoxy the glue the parts back together. Holding together so far...

    Things I liked:

They sort of look realistic and give the gun weight. Pyramyd Air customer service. They have been courteous and helpful with every exchange issue I have addressed with them so far. I do wish PA would sell replacement parts and provide parts listings/schematics for all the guns they sell.

    Things I would have changed:

The cartridge piercing seal is hit and miss between the magazines. The groove for the o ring seal on the output side could be redone, had a couple mags with pinched o rings. The quality control at the manufacturer seems to suck. Customer access to the parts inventory would be a big help. These magazines are way to expensive to be so inconsistent. A double CO2 stack mag would be great for plinking! The gun doesn't need to be on display all the time.

    What others should know:

Keep exchanging mags until you get reliable ones.

Weight, look, feel and easy loading. These mags compliment the authenticity of the rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Remember to always add a drop of Pelloil to the tip of the co2 cartridge. Provides better seal and, preserves the o-ring. I have dozens of Airguns, (not airsoft), and do this with all pistols and rifles. The MI carbine replica is the showpiece of my collection...

    Things I liked:

Pretty heavy and solidly built, which helps give the M1 rifle a bit of a realistic feel. Functions well.

    What others should know:

I find that I can only get about 50 shots before running out of CO2 in this magazine. It lasts the least amount of time of any of my 10 airguns. The M1 is fun to shoot, but this magazine doesn't last very long, in my experience.

    Things I liked:

Solid and heavy! Nice powder coated finish. The spring upgrade on the new redesigned mag is sturdier.

    Things I would have changed:

15 rounds is accurate for the replication of the M1 Carbine but, it would be nice to have a larger capacity magazine, since this is such a fun rifle to shoot.

    What others should know:

Insist that the manufacturer of this type of magazine keep a high quality control process in place. I have heard that sometimes these mags leak or the spring pops out from its railing. I personally haven't experienced this.

  • Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

Works better than the original mag I got with my M1 Carbine. The original one was prone to leaking, the black finish wore off easily and it had problems feeding. This one has a more durable finish, holds the gas better and feeds flawlessly.

    Things I would have changed:

It only seems to hold 14 rounds. Not a big deal or a deal breaker just a bit weird.
