Pretty heavy and solidly built, which helps give the M1 rifle a bit of a realistic feel. Functions well.

I find that I can only get about 50 shots before running out of CO2 in this magazine. It lasts the least amount of time of any of my 10 airguns. The M1 is fun to shoot, but this magazine doesn't last very long, in my experience.

Solid and heavy! Nice powder coated finish. The spring upgrade on the new redesigned mag is sturdier.

15 rounds is accurate for the replication of the M1 Carbine but, it would be nice to have a larger capacity magazine, since this is such a fun rifle to shoot.

Insist that the manufacturer of this type of magazine keep a high quality control process in place. I have heard that sometimes these mags leak or the spring pops out from its railing. I personally haven't experienced this.

Works better than the original mag I got with my M1 Carbine. The original one was prone to leaking, the black finish wore off easily and it had problems feeding. This one has a more durable finish, holds the gas better and feeds flawlessly.

It only seems to hold 14 rounds. Not a big deal or a deal breaker just a bit weird.

Heft and look of the magazine is a splitting image of the real thing. The carbine is is amazingly fun to shoot. and if you have a good interval between shots you get consistent results.

On this magazine the follower is too fragile. Don't make the mistake I made, twice, by accidently letting the follower snap to the top of the magazine, which causes it to lodge into the feed lips and shear in two. Broke two magazines in two shooting sessions.

Contacting Air Venturi directly has produced no results.

This is a replacement magazine for the leaky ones, Pyramyd has worked with me nicely to get this really sweet piece off my wall and on my range! the originals were defective and either fell apart or had defective top valves. This replacement functions perfectly! Thank you again, my buddies are now thinking of purchasing one!

Works fine, kind of a pain to load but I can see a trade off here, authenticity verses ease of loading. Leave it as is! Maybe test each mag before shipping,

These M1 carbines are fun to look at, fooled quite a few vets from a foot away! Even more fun to shoot! The blowback action eats a bit of power but again it's a trade off. Spend the extra money for wood stock option. Great company!

Quality control on the product

Took me three magazines before I got one that worked OK.First had problems with the spraying popping out. Then problems with the valve not working properly. And also CO2 leaking out. Seems like they mightve got them working OK now.

The better quality control

Purchased two magazines and both were defective.

Nothing. It doesn't work.

When the co2 cartridge is tightened into the magazine, it instantly expels (empties) the entire canister. If I install the magazine into the rifle first, and then tighten the co2 cartridge, the gun just goes into full auto mode and shoots all 15 rounds. I'm not getting much help from Customer Support. When I explained my problem via email, the response I received was a link to an order page for a new cartridge that wasn't even available for 3 weeks! I would have hoped that they would consider sending me a new one. I have a nice looking bb rifle that is totally useless, at this point.

This new version of this magazine is working fine. The spring has not popped out of the slot.

Improve the BB magazine follower so that it would be easier to grip and lock in place.

The magazine that came with the rifle was defective; because upon sliding the spring down for the first time it popped out and could not be fixed.
The replacement magazine/springs have been redesigned.

Has a nice weight, maybe a little heavy. BBS easy to load.

The magazine. The follower broke on mine but even before that it did lot matter how tight the CO2 was screwed in, with a pellgun oil addition, it does lot stop leaking.

The magazine for this rifle only functioned properly for the first 3-5 cartridges.
