Very good looking gun has a good strong feel to it,kicks like a mule went through 2 Half inch plywood with .22 caliber barracuda 21.14 I sighted the gun in and then cited the laser to the very center of the cross hair and then didnt need to use the scope just aim the laser and it would hit wherever the laser was aiming at !!!! ( Love this gun )
Things I would have changed:I wouldnt mind a little better scope
What others should know:Very good value this gun is a beast if you want to go hunting this gun would take down just about anything you would want to hunt.

I myself was just wondering if this nitro piston would work in my older Quest 1000-(FPS).. It was bought before 2006
For that information you need to contact Crosman. We doubt that the part would fit.
Your saying it gets 29 FPE ? I'm only getting 21FPE with my new Crosman Quest? Using Crosman HP 14.3 grain pellets going 814 FPS. I get 21.04 FPE? What is your combo? The Quest does out do my Crosman Redtail. Retail 5 months old the Quest 3 weeks. I've tried 5 to 6 kinds of pellets not no were near your Rating of 29 FPE ? Help !!
Crrosman uses there own measurements on all of there (AG's) but there sually wrrong by a couple of hundred feet per second.
That rating is from Crosman. No idea what pellet they used to achieve that rating though

Seems like a nicely made gun. The extra barrel length makes for easier cocking for an airgun with this power. Out of box accuracy is pretty good. About 1/2 in at 25 yds. Hits very hard Explodes full pop cans like a mini grenade.
Things I would have changed:The trigger. Worst trigger I can ever remember going back to my Red Ryder. You don't squeeze or pull this trigger, you take it for a walk.... a long walk. As you continue to engage more travel you think there can't be any more travel and there Is. I've learned to work with this but will check out a fix for improvement. That is the reason I gave it a four star.
What others should know:I researched a lot of rifles for a hard hitting magnum that was accurate as well and at a value price. I think I made a good choice. Keep in mind that if you plan on hunting with this gun that it is a handful to carry over long distances.
