Less than 3 lbs., it's a great starter air rifle. The Daisy Powerline model 35 BB gun takes 3 to 10 pumps to send BBs up to 625 fps (pellets=605 fps). The texture on the grip and pump handle make it that much easier to get a grip and stay on target. Ideal for plinking and target shooting. It's so light that you can shoot all day! Suitable for younger shooters (with adult supervision) and smaller adults. The shooter and everyone in the range area should wear safety glasses when guns are present. Remember to remove all pets from the shooting area, as they may become excited. Plus, steel BBs can ricochet and could bounce back and hit them. Never shoot steel BBs at hard objects (metal plates, falling plates, etc.) or water, as both increase the chances of ricochet. Lead pellets can also ricochet, but not as often as BBs.

The variable pump feature is like the Crosman 760 and is light weight and well constructed. I am very happy with it! Price is right too!
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:The people that take your order and answer your questions are very friendly and professional. Shipping is second to none!

Easy to pump. 5-star accuracy *for such a cheap gun*. Easy to load bbs into the chamber. Light as a feather. Very quiet. Shoots accurately and quietly w/ only 2-3 pumps--crazy! ... But if you want more power, just pump up to 6 or 10 total.
Things I would have changed:For an adult, make it longer. For kids, perfect length. So, not a criticism, just a fact.
What others should know:Haven't used pellets yet, but big fun with 300 or so BBs. Marksman BBs are more accurate than Copperhead. Have fun!

How many pumps for 500fps?
Would it be possible to mount front and rear peep sights on this rifle?
The trigger stopped working took it apart . Trigger barely moves thought it was stuck but nothing seems out of place?

The gun is, as advertised, light weight and easy to pump. A 10-year old would be quite comfortable shooting this gun. Easy-to-use equals fun-to-use. Three of four pumps and, wow, that BB gets to the target in a hurry. Packs a punch for such a lightweight rifle. I'm still not sure about accuracy. I'm working on that to sort out the variables. I really like how the pump tube and barrel are joined structurally. The barrel shroud wraps around the pump tube inside the forearm. It's simple and strong. I count 13 fasteners (2 bolts and 11 screws) holding the receiver halves together. If gaskets/seals are replaceable and available then the Powerline Model 35 should be good to go for decades.
Things I would have changed:In contrast to the structural integrity of the rifle, the cocking/loading bolt seems incredibly flexy and flimsy. It hasn't broken yet, but each time I load a BB it feels like it will. Trigger pull is ridiculously hard. Absurdly hard. I don't have a scale but it would surprise me if it wasn't at least 10 pounds. That said, at least the trigger pull feels smooth and predictable. I found the rear sight windage adjustment hard to manage. When I would tighten the tiny screw the tightening would cause the sight to move. Sometimes it takes a lot of shaking and tilting of the rifle to get the next BB onto the bolt. I get 3, 4, sometimes 5 shots in a row without trouble. Then I have to shake shake shake to get the next BB to move up the channel to the entrance point at the end of the bolt.
What others should know:Suggestion for Daisy - make the stock butt piece removable, then make a but(t) extension piece that's a couple inches longer for the grown-ups. I'd pay $10 more for a longer stock. Suggestion #2 for Daisy - change that ridiculous trigger pull. #3 A sturdier bolt would be nice. Or make the flimsy flexy plastic bolt easy and cheap to replace when it breaks.
