New from Benjamin, the Mayhem SBD is a breakbarrel with a lot of attitude –but not a lot of noise. From its sturdy stock to its quiet shots, this gun is ready to drop targets and small game with style.
Loaded with features, the Mayhem includes Crosman’s all new SBD technology, a modified suppressor that makes this gun 3x quieter than other breakbarrels in its class. The asymmetric SBD (silencing barrel device) is designed to keep out of the way of the included 3-9x40 AO scope, a step-up from the optics included with its Trail and Rogue lines, and mounts on the Picatinny/Weaver rail. For easy cleaning, the SBD suppressor comes apart with a single screw. If you prefer to go without the scope, Crosman included a front post and an adjustable rear sight for those who want to put their shooting skills to work.
Designed with the shooter in mind, the Mayhem’s soft touch synthetic stock features multiple textured handholds for an easy grip and sling mounts for field carrying. Crosman’s Nitro Piston technology ensures that this gun will be easy to cock, shoot straight in cold weather, and not vibrate when you pull the trigger. The Mayhem also sports an adjustable 2 stage trigger, so you shouldn’t have any trouble getting a smooth pull. As if all of this wasn't good enough, this airgun is assembled by American workers in Crosman's manufacturing headquarters in Bloomfield, New York!
All of these features add up to a stocked airgun that’s going to give breakbarrel airgunners everything they could ask for!

Very Powerful, the .177 pellets went through 1/2 plywood at 15 yds.
Things I would have changed:Scope mounts definitely. Trigger pull is very strong from the box. Had to replace the firing spring after 25 rounds ~ much better.
What others should know:Received by Benjamin Mayhem NP2 in .177 cal. Dec. 31st. Tried 25 rounds at 15 yds. with scope, mounts and ammo provided with the rifle. No good, could not get a reasonable grouping. Replaced the scope mounts with UTG picatinny mounts. Much better, moved the target back to 25 yds. Ten shot groups within 6" with an occasional flyer. Although I'd agree the scope is not the best, the ammo is definitely a problem. Currently using the Crosman Destroyer in 7.4 gr. that came with the rifle. Having shot over 100 pellets I've noticed the variance in size. A few actually didn't fit in the barrel. Some were loose and some tight. Next up, I've ordered JSB Exact Match in 8.4 gr. Then I plan on testing H&N Field Target Trophy. After testing I'll post the results. Would love to hear what other shooters using this air rifle have experienced.

I like the sling mounts, nitro piston.
Things I would have changed:not at all what I expected kinda cheap looking
What others should know:Shot a variety of different weights 177 pellets and could not find any that it would be consistant with.. When I would get it zeroed in and let it set for a day it would never hold zero. My opinion is I wish I would've not got cheap and ordered proven pellet gun with great reviews right from the start..

After putting a few hundred pellets through this thing, I still can't get groups reliably inside 1 foot diameter at 10 yards. I've tried pellets from several manufacturers, and various weights. I've tried artillery hold. Manual is lost, can't find any information online. Any tips?
The gun is defective. Crosman has a 5 year warranty.
What is the difference between the Mayhem and the Rogue? Thanks!
The stocks are different. that is it.
Hi, anybody notice that the rear sight windage notch just pivots on the axis of the adjusting screw allowing it to move too freely and come out of adjustment?

Power, 25 yds and still punching through 1/2 plywood using .177 pellets
Things I would have changed:Trigger pull still strong even after changing trigger springs.
What others should know:2nd review: As I mentioned earlier, I shot 100 pellets using the ammo supplied with the rifle. At 25 yds, best I could do was 6" groups of 10 shots each. Not very good even after replacing scope mounts. Just finished shooting 5 10 shot groups using the Diabolo Exact 8.44 gr. Definitely a different. All 5 groups (except 1 - had a flyer) within 3". Next up is H&N FTT. I'll post after shooting.
