The Crosman RepeatAir 1077 TAC CO2 Rifle shoots .177 cal pellets up to 780 FPS and is a great option for plinking and pest control. It utilizes a 12-round rotary pellet magazine and a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge to sling pellets through a rifled steel barrel. Because it’s a semi-automatic pellet rifle, it shoots alloy or lead pellets as fast as the operator can pull the trigger.
The 1077 Tac has several upgraded features over the base model, including an adjustable cheek riser, a top Picatinny rail for choice of optic, and a bottom Picatinny rail for a bipod. While the option to install a scope is a great bonus, the stock sights also work great. A fiber optic sight sits up front, while an adjustable rear sight sits right before the scope rail.

*This is the max velocity with lead pellets. If you shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger, your velocity will be lower. Since CO2 is a refrigerant, you will receive somewhat fewer shots and lower velocities compared with waiting 5-10 seconds between shots. This applies to all CO2 guns.

Very good-looking rifle, Crosman's great price, Weaver rails top and bottom, perfect weight to shoot all day, great 12-shot inexpensive magazines, 1077 semi-automatic jamb-free shooter, great use of one cylinder CO2, easy to use loading and shooting, shrouded barrel, cheek pad very comfortable for me, comfortable shoulder pad.
Things I would have changed:Better trigger is always on my list, but this one is 1077 level and it works OK. Make cheek pad more adjustable, but this one works for me as presented. Nothing else, even if the price was doubled.
What others should know:I'm sure this rifle will be accurate and dependable just like all 1077s I and my friends have had. I added a red dot on the top rail and it aligns quite well. It also makes the rifle look even better. Front sight is good quality and if my vision was better I wouldn't need a scope. You might not. Buy 6-8 magazines, load flat or round nose pellets, and shoot without changing CO2. This rifle is a can-killer, fast as you can pull the trigger. Pyramyd provided a $25 coupon on a $100 order which made this one $75 plus shipping. Can't beat that. Thank you, gentlemen.

Looked good out of the box with its fiber optic front sight and detachable magazine
Things I would have changed:Cheek piece will not retract all the way down to the stock for a good cheek weld, and be able to get a good sight picture, as the sights are really low. The only way to see the sights was to detach the cheek riser and do a cheek hold on the bare stock, which was not real comfortable. As to accuracy, I didn't want to shoot it without a good sight picture. Need to buy a red dot or a scope for this gun.
What others should know:Crosman Customer Service was Great, unlike Umarex! When I called up, Stephanie walked me on how to solve the cheek riser problem, and when it didn't work, agreed to repair or replace the defective gun. Unlike Umarex, she even sent me a UPS return label! Umarex refused to pay for return shipping when I got a defective T4E AR15 from them, only for shipping the new gun to me.

Very accurate...
Things I would have changed:...only worked for about 12 CO2 cartridges then proceeded to leak every cartridge put in it in two seconds...bought a new seal kit and installed it and same thing...bought two packs of the spare clips to go with it and none of the six worked. The trigger would not come back after firing and had to force trigger forward to fire another shot, but it worked fine with the two clips it came with though so obviously the spares were defective. Then to top it off I threw away the packaging the same day it stopped working so now I can't return the thing...complete waste of money all the way around...
What others should know:Keep your packaging as Pyramid won't accept a return without it and don't attempt to repair if it quits working as this voids your warranty with Crosman.
