| If you are looking for a squad automatic weapon (SAW) the A&K M249 may be the best option for you. It features full metal construction and a detailed finish that makes you feel like you are holding the real thing. In addition to the 2400 round box magazine the A&K M249 has the ability to use standard M4/M16 magazines (just like the Classic Army), so you have the ability to share magazines with the rest of your squad. The folding metal bi-pod and skeletal stock with shoulder rest make this SAW ready to lay down a base of fire.
The A&K M249 is full metal with built in bipod and redesigned 8mm gearbox and hop-up chamber. It is an out of the box ready to go heavy firing support machine gun! The TOP, CA and other M249 normally costs from $600 ~ $1000 without the box magazine, reliability and upgrade-ability! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

A&K Full Metal MIL249 KII Airsoft AEG by A&Kreviews summary
Things I would have changed:The trigger mechanism. If you flip off the safety button, the gun should cut out power to the motor to stop firing - it does not. It is a mechancal trigger lock but it does not shut off power to the motor. A mechanical lock is okay but with a 'electric' gun, the safety lock in addition to locking the trigger, should also shut off the electical circuit What others should know:I am not sure if this was a on-off adjustment or lubrication issue with my gun. After about expanding 7000 pellets, my gun's trigger started getting stuck in the firing position. Pushing the trigger forward or flipping the safety button did not stop the firing. It happened twice. The first time, I stopped it by pulling the battery out. The second time, while I was pulling the battery out, the orange muzzle hit the ground a bit too hard and broke. I have since taken the trigger assembly off and adjusted the screw that trips the electric firing switch and made sure that there was no binding in the switch. Seems to be working okay for now -- will see. But it really stinks that there are NO spare parts available. Spoke to Scott at Pyramyd about a week ago re getting a spare parts available - that is a spare/replacement muzzle. he was going to check but so far no response from Pyramyd. A bit of a bummer since I have been very happy thus far with the products and service offer by Pyramid. I sure hope that easily breakable parts like the orange plastic muzzle are available SOON.
Things I would have changed:Make it shoot further What others should know:If you buy this gun a Classic Army Hop Up System is a must for this gun. With out that hop up system the gun is accurate up to 70 feet.
Things I would have changed:Nothing What others should know:Eye protection is a good thing!
