Remington Knockdown Target, Jackrabbit, Manual Reset, 2 Kill-Zone Reducers

Remington Knockdown Target, Jackrabbit, Manual Reset, 2 Kill-Zone Reducers

Target has a kill zone that can be reduced 2x with the attached reducers. The smallest kill zone (0.5") is shown above. Loop a string or cord thru the ring and pull on it to reset the target. The rabbit falls back when you shoot a pellet into the kill zone. If a pellet splits, it may not have sufficient energy to knock it back.

Target shown from the back, where the 2 kill-zone reducers are shown hinged to the target. Use either the larger kill zone that's in the body of the target, or slide down one of the kill-zone reducers.

The target face is attached to the base and will fall back if the kill zone is hit with a pellet and sufficient energy. Split pellets may not have enough energy to knock it back.

Includes 4 anchor pins and reset string.

Field target is a fast-growing airgun sport, and this Remington jackrabbit target is a welcome addition. Make sure you have a proper backstop to stop any pellets that miss the target. If the target is hit outside the kill zone, the target face will not fall. It'll fall only when you hit the kill zone. Pellets that split on the edge of the kill zone (it happens) may not have enough power to knock down the target and get a point in a field target match.

This field target will help you sharpen your shooting skills! Start off with the largest kill zone, and then make the kill zone smaller with the reducers. Challenge yourself by moving down to the smaller kill zone as you become more proficient.

Because the target is metal, make sure everyone in the area wears safety glasses. Pellets can ricochet. Be sure to also remove all pets from the area to prevent injury from ricochets.

Things I liked: made well, works well

Things I would have changed: Replace the slip washers and pins with lock nuts and bolts

What others should know: knocks down a little hard, knocking it down with a 177 is a bit of a challenge!

Things I liked: THE REDUCERS ARE PERMANENTLY ATTACHED AND YOU CAN'T LOSE THEM. THE PULL LINE IS STRONG ENOUGH TO WORK WELL.

Things I would have changed: NOTHING.

What others should know: LESS EXPENSIVE THAN SOME OTHERS.

Things I liked: Ease of changing kill zone

What others should know: Shot about 20 rounds from my HW50S at 25 yards and after the last shot went to reset and the target fell apart. Should have been able to hold up to a 12 fpe .177 cal rifle according to the specs. I will be calling for an rma for this one and the crow which is unused.
