Remington Knockdown Target, Wild Hog, Manual Reset, 2 Kill-Zone Reducers

Target shown from the back, where the 2 kill-zone reducers are shown hinged to the target. Use either the larger kill zone that's in the body of the target, or slide down one of the kill-zone reducers.

The target face is attached to the base and will fall back if the kill zone is hit with a pellet and sufficient energy. Split pellets may not have enough energy to knock it back.

Includes 4 anchor pins and reset string.

If you're a field target shooter or would like to become one, it's important to practice shooting targets between matches. If you're not into field target and just want a fun target, this will keep you entertained for hours. Get the whole set of Remington field targets for even more variety.

Things I liked: What can I say ... I have the Crow and Rabbit too!

Things I would have changed: replace the the slip washers with lock nuts and bolts add a reset string!

What others should know: I gave it a 1 Star because this one did not have the reset string with it! Other than that, it's well built, and fun to use

Things I liked: Works with lower-powered pellet guns: .177 cal pellets traveling at around 400 feet per second, and hard-hitting .22 cal pellets going over 850 fps. You don't need heavy pellets to drop this. The downed target snaps back into position with a pull on the reset string. The 4 anchoring pins are more than enough to keep the target in position for more than a day's worth of shooting.

Things I would have changed: I wish the painted-on legs and underbody detail was embossed into the steel plate. When I repaint it, that detail will be lost unless I make a stencil.

What others should know: These targets are heavy duty construction and will not be damaged by lead pellets.
