By Joe from USA on 2010-02-08 13:11:51Things I liked:The quality is excellent, AirArms all the way..... A trigger smooth as glass, great adjustable sights, very consistent, the looks are beautiful and and everything is in the right place, wouldn't move or change a thing..
Things I would have changed:Would add a pressure gauge, like the one used on AirArms rifles. It would be nice to know what was there, even though with the regulator it is very consistent...
What others should know:This target pistol likes "LEAD ONLY PELLETS." No gold plated, copper washed FTS and Raptor. Both have been stuck about 2" from the muzzle. This requires a wooden dowel, as not to scratch the barrel rifling, from the muzzle to loosen it up, pushing the pellet back a little then firing it out. That's how I took care of it, and STOPPED USING the plated pellets. Must be very careful because these barrels are "cold wrapped." They are not hardened like a conventional firearm and the fine rifling can be easily damaged with a metal tool.... But the LEAD ONLY PELLETS work great...

By Edward from USA on 2014-12-06 17:33:03Things I liked:Great value and accuracy. I got this as a starter 10m competition pistol.
Things I would have changed:The ambidextrous grip is a compromise and not good for either right or left handers. I would recommend that you purchase a dedicated right or left hand grip once you become proficient. The air tank has no gauge, not a big issue except it hard to diagnose if you have a problem with your tank. My tank had a leak. If I filled the tank and shot it to empty immediately after filling it, I can normally get 80 shots, However if I wait a few hours, my shot count goes down to anywhere from 30 to 60 shots. This level of unpredictability will not work for competition. I use the Hill pump (great pump) and I can't imagine having to pump air in the tank right before the start of the competition (the effort raises your heart rate and increases stress) or god forbid, during a middle of the competition.
What others should know:Its a great starter gun if everything worked properly but unfortunately I didn't. I was originally going to ask for an exchange but after some thought I returned it. I've come to the conclusion that there is really no cheap way to get into the 10m competition and decided to get either a FWB or some other higher end pistol.
