Things I liked:very accurate, well made heavy, feels, i imagine, just like a real one would.
Things I would have changed:left grip should pop up instead of the right because most people are right handed.
What others should know:its awesome and if you want a really cool expensive replica bb gun like me, well then definately buy this.

Things I liked:Accuracy, realistic weight (for a trainer), looks good from a distance, gets 100 shots per co2. I can group 1" at 10 meters.
Things I would have changed:The hammer is plastic and looks cheap, trigger too. The safety is very cheap and doesn't turn to safe without using my fingernail to push the ball in. Perhaps it's just my gun. The two rotating clips are defective. The gears are terrible and they do not rotate 50% of the time. I thought my gun was defective until I figured that out. Good thing I ordered a three pack of spares two of which work all the time and one misfires 20% of the time or so. The sights were way off. I had to file down the rear sight and groove a lot. The grip safety requires a strong grip as if you were shooting a 45 otherwise it won't fire. It's not bad but if you like to grip your air pistols lightly it won't work. Power is fine for target but I would gladly trade less shots for more power. Chrome finish and plastic grips are fine. Fake ejection port makes it look like a toy which is why they never show the right side.
What others should know:Although it's weight is accurate I find the gun too heavy to add a red dot or scope. After 100 shots you are ready for a break. Makes a great trainer for Bullseye to build arm strength which is why I bought it and worth the price just for that.

      Things I liked:E V E R Y T H I N G except the sights ( see below )
Things I would have changed:Adjustable sights from the factory and cheaper is always nice .
What others should know:When I opened the case it comes in all I could say was W O W what a fire arm ! ! I could hardly wait to shoot it and I was glad I have a indoor range , well as someone else said " it shoots high " and does it ever . Mine shot about five inches high and right about a inch at 28 feet . After a call to my favorite air gun supplier PYRAMYD AIR I was informed they do not sell adjustable sights for this pistol I was FORCED to look at other air gun web site . Low and behold I found them for under forty bucks ! After installing them and a bit of sighting in I will now put eight shots using a rest in the dead center of the bulls eye EVERY TIME without using any " kentucky windage" THE ADDITION OF THES SIGHTS ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY ! ! I also added the " PLASTIC IVORY GRIPS " sold at PYRAMYD AIR that by the way fit perfect with nice a deep checkering that do look like ivory . I now have one beautiful 1911 that is extremely accurate and anyone would be proud to own ! ! I know I am .

Things I liked:Here we are years later and this all metal gun is still one of my favorites.I like the slide release lever opens slide for clip insertion/removal, great weight, highly accurate, very realistic. Still freaks the family out!
Things I would have changed:Needs three dot sighting system. COLT markings should have been stamped heavier, polishing(by hand)made them almost invisible.
What others should know:"Sorry you got a bogus one Neil."My safety works like the real thing and grip pressure is normal to fire. I have put a couple thousand rounds through this gun never had a misfire.(knock on wood) I have many magazines/clips that are shared with other guns, never had a problem ever. Get out your favorite metal polish and this baby will look like chrome, helps the ejection port not look so much like a "toy" too!

Things I liked:All metal construction. Feels just my my real 1911, so I can plink at home instead of going to the range. Very accurate once I got the feel of the trigger and replaced the fixed sights with adjustable sights.
Things I would have changed:I changed out the front and rear sights with Umarex's adjustable sight kit. I've got it dialed in now and shooting quarter-sized groups at 10 yards. I would also like to see slim grips made specifically for this pistol; slim grips that I have for a 1911 won't work on the CO2 cartridge access side. Other than those things, I wouldn't change out anything else. I've read comments about the grip safety needing to be lighter so the gun will shoot properly, but if you're like me and have a real 1911 pistol, you'd know that you have to really grip it in order to control recoil and get your sights back on the target quickly.
What others should know:You need to really grip this gun in order to simulate your grip on the real thing. So quit whining, grip 20% harder and happy plinking. And if your grip consists of tea-cupping your gun hand, then your shots will all be going low left (if you're right-handed).

Things I liked:The heft of the gun is svery much like a real Colt 1911A1, as I own several. Clever, but somewhat tedious loading, but after about 7 years with this pistol, it's still working quite well.
Things I would have changed:My particular variation is one that is no longer offered. It has a fully adjustable rear sight, a muzzle compensator and wrap-around grips. It also has an "ambi safety", and that is the Achilles heel of this pistol. When one side is down, the other could still be up. So it won't fire. Been that way all along.
What others should know:I have owned dozens of pellet and BB pistols over the years. This is one of the most reliable, accurate, and authentic looking I have ever seen. And Yup, I'd buy it again! Just as soon as this one wears out!

Things I liked:i've always liked the 1911s,but was never able to owen one,i have sevearl of the soft air ones, but this Colt is the ultimate in pellet guns.i had wondered how these guns could have a round clip, this truely an amazing gun, feels and shoot like a real gun,and acurate.i have never been more pleased with a gun than this, and what i spent on it,it is worth every penny.
Things I would have changed:i wouldn't change a thing on this gun,its great.
What others should know:can i ask,do you sell just the case it came in,would like to buy another one.

Things I liked:The weight is identical to the real gun; I believe it's only a .05lbs + or - difference. When you put a fresh cartridge in the gun, the first two or three shots sound like a .22 gun is being shot... it's a really nice sound and puts a smile on your face ^_^. I found this gun to shoot very accurately, I've been able to shoot at a little over 20-25 yards and be able to hit the target accurately. After about 6 clips (48 shots) making shots from 20yards or more will be hard because the pellet starts drifting more and becoming less and less accurate.
Things I would have changed:I'd drop the price down some... I also think that the grip-safety could be a little smaller because it seems to scrape up the metal after awhile, same with the slide release...but it seems to just be lead that creates the marks and comes off if you take a cue-tip and wipe it off. Also, it would be nice if they made the slide go back towards you like a real gun and not push forward to put the clip in. It is quite an expensive toy but those are into collecting replica pellet guns, the price shouldn't stop you.
What others should know:If you do buy this gun, I'd advise against getting the Crosman Wadcutter just because your not getting the most bang for your buck. They seem to slow down the gun due to the shape of the pellet. I'd recommend getting the RWS Superpoint's because of the shape, weight and it also seems to reach a higher velocity then the Crosman Field Hunting and Wadcutter pellets. I'd also recommend paying the extra $15 and getting the 3 extra clips; but if you get those, be sure to buy lots of Co2 and ammo cause you'll go through it like nothing! If you love collecting guns like this, then buy it! If you're just looking for something to have fun with and get similar results, I'd recommend the Berreta Elite II - higher FPS, a forth the price and still all the fun without the looks.

Things I liked:The weight of this gun is amazing...it is identical to the real gun (I believe it weighs .05lbs more/less). The accuracy on this gun is also remarkable, from about 50 feet away you can shoot and hit a 4" x 8" piece of plank wood, it split the wood after about 3 clips (24 shots) but didn't go through...but that's still pretty damn good. If your a good shooter, you can get up to a good 30 yards and it will still hit accurately (within a 1" radius).
Things I would have changed:The price...I found $215 to be a little excessive, but I do think it's worth it because of the quality... $150 is what I'd value this gun at. I also think that the slide on the gun should move back not forward on the barrel to make it more realistic... The Colt also doesn't have any railing systems if your looking to equip a laser guide or flashlight; then again it is trying to make a near identical copy of the real 1911 A1 Colt.
What others should know:Off of an 8 gram Co2 tank, you can get about 50 shots accurately, maybe 60 but no more. If you decide to buy this gun, make sure you get extra clips and at least a 25 pack of Co2 because you'll go through it like nothing. If your taking this up as a hobby and this is your first gun of choice, I recommend buying something cheaper...perhaps the Beretta Elite II and then if you like that, buy this.

Things I liked:This one freaked the family out!!! all thought it was the .45 I keep up stairs.Very realistic. nice trigger. great co2 load with good grip removal system.Loads rotary clips with ease. Not as loud as the advertised rating. This one is now one of my favorites.Good weight too!!
Things I would have changed:sights are very plain.Needs three dot set up.Something bright and easy to align would be even better. Cyber gun sights!!!!
What others should know:Only had a short time, but this is real nice gun and seems to be very accurate shooter even with fixed sights.
