The optic is clear and sharp. I especially like the etched reticle as a wire reticle can break on a strong springer. The turret adjustments are precise they do not at all feel mushy. The scope has plenty of adjustment I mechanically centered the scope before mounting it. I was able to sight in my air rifle in three shots at 20 yards. The air rifle is a HW97k .177 cal. The lighted reticle when used does not over power the sight picture. It really is an aid when aiming at a dark target.
