German quality, hand-assembled and ready to accept any task you give it! At only 7.3 lbs., this breakbarrel marvel will delight you with spot-on accuracy. The R9 begs to be shot all day long, and you'll have a hard time refusing.
Repeatable accuracy is built into the gun at the factory, and you won't outgrow it. Its German heritage ensures that it'll perform flawlessly for hunting, pest elimination, paper targets, field targets or plinking. If you plan to shoot field target, .177 is the optimum caliber. If hunting small game and pest elimination are in your plans, .20 caliber is a better choice.
The hardwood Monte Carlo stock includes a slightly raised cheekpiece that is so unobtrusive that it's ambidextrous! The dependable breakbarrel mechanism is smooth and easy to cock. The famous Rekord trigger is the standard by which all other triggers are measured and can be adjusted to suit your needs. Easily add a scope on the 11mm dovetails; accepts a vertical scope stop pin.
The globe front sight accepts aperture inserts (none included), and the rear micrometer sight is adjustable for windage and elevation.
Don't forget to pick up a variety of recommended pellets, which are listed in the AMMO link. Select appropriate accessories, including scopes and targets, by clicking on the ACCESSORIES link.

Things I liked:First of all , i have to say that the rifle is extremely accurate, i hit a card in 90* from 27 yards , a head of a nail, drawing pin's nail (the metal part) and more... the quality is very high, and the rifle is very powerful, (8gr pellets=860 fps), and the rifle is very good looking . Things I would have changed:just

Things I would have changed:just the safety, but after a 500 pellets it's break in very nicely
i don't really like the bluing , it's very beautiful but you need to care bout rust What others should know:the best pellet for him is the Predator Polymags, and the Crow Magnums, great for foxes too, also for all the little pests (as foxes, crows, pigeons and doves) also great for plinking ! you'll enjy this rifle, but it's not for beginners !

It's ambidextrous and I really like the adjustable two stage trigger. Things I would have changed:I would use a standard front sight instead of the peep sight. I would like to see less of a recoil and perhaps a compensatore at the end of the barrell to expel some of the air thaT causes some shots to tumble. All of these aren't reasons to not buy the gun. What others should know:Weight wise this is a heavy gun so don't try to hold it for a long time before shooting. Also you might like using a scope instead of the regular sight. I do.
