    Things I liked:

Very nice replica. This gun has very good weight and accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

You have to hold the clip in the mag with your thumb while loading BBs. It would be better if the mag itself has something to hold it.

    What others should know:

I am very satisfied with this air gun and have had a lot of fun with it. It seems pricey, but I never regret with this purchase.

    Things I liked:

This thing is built to look ilke the real thing. only difference is the bolt actoin is shorter.

    Things I would have changed:

to not after an afternoon of firing smelling likee pnematic oil drench as as well as sweat.

    What others should know:

you can load the magazine easy by pulling down the spring and using a ventri .177 pellet pen to fill the magazine in BBs use like a straw. It just takes some practice.

    Things I liked:

Very nice reproduction of the MP-40. Next best thing to the real MP-40. Safer and legal to own. And cheaper to shoot than the real one. Very fun gun to shoot. SAFELY!!!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Nice to have a choice of a worn and weathered look . But I can save money and do that my self.

    What others should know:

You guys out there can easily make, out of a metal coat hanger, a piece to hold the BB thumb spring loading mechanism. Makes it a lot easier to load.

    Things I liked:

I like this SO much, that I purchased a second one-just in case. I purchased 5 extra magazines so I wouldn't need to stop having fun! I have had little to no stoppages-very comparable to the "real deal" firearm. Be patient, know the "drill" and avoild loading more than 40 BB's as it creates too much spring tension in the magazine. Loads of fun that you will not regret!

    Things I would have changed:

Offer the possibility of a magazine plug adapted to regulated HPA. I've seen an example of that very item that was "created" by an entrepreneurial owner-or at least offer the plugs as a separate item so we can make our own.

    What others should know:

You may need to LIGHTLY deburr the BB exit of the magazine as the BB's will occasionally hang up there. This is most likely the cause of some of the concerns in previous reviews.

    Things I liked:

Sound at full auto. Authentic look. Can't say about feel, because I never held a real one. Inserting the magazine is easy - just make sure it's aiming the right way; removing also easy/simple.

    Things I would have changed:

Magazine needs a better way to hold the spring back for loading, or a latch of some sort to hold it. Perhaps some coating or some instructions on how to load the magazine so the BBs go all in aligned properly, and whether that is really necessary (they don't line up in a straight line, but make a zig-zag stack). A mark on the magazine to indicate proper full mark might also help, if that matters.

    What others should know:

Not sure what causes misfires; misaligned BBs? weak spring? general manufacturing tolerances? It's something. Shooting in SA mode gets a lot of misfires and wastes more CO2 than a good shot. It was hard to tell when it misfired (outside with a little wind). Sometimes slapping it straighted it out. Anyway because it's so heavy and with the frequent misfires, SA mode is not so fun. Mine is not as accurate as some have indicated. FA mode is fun, but you need to have multiple magazines to keep it up. I intended to use it in FA mode for the rattlesnakes on country property. Didn't see any lately, but accuracy for that might be a concern. Gonna try some silicone spray lube in at least one magazine to see if that reduces misfires. Maybe try more practice on the cactus to see how it might handle the rattlesnakes. Shot low. Never used rear sight in down position after initial testing.

    Things I liked:

Beautiful! Nearly the same weight as the original, extremely well-made. I was expecting less than I paid for, but the reverse was true!

    Things I would have changed:

Ship it with the front sling attachment on the right side of the barrel like the original. It's easy to switch it - YouTube is your friend here - but why should the purchaser have to do this? Otherwise, I wouldn't change a thing!

    What others should know:

BUY THIS GUN. You won't be disappointed! Save your money and do the weathering/wear details yourself if you like that look. I found it easy to do with some 400 grit wet & dry sandpaper and a Mr. Clean sponge. Just go slow and wipe down frequently to make sure you are not taking off too much finish. Remember, as far as realistic wear is concerned, less is more - just concentrate on the high spots. Oh, yeah - buy lots of steel BBs and a couple of cases of CO2!

    Things I liked:

This is a great value for the money!!! Two things that you must know before shooting though are: 1.) BE SURE TO TIGHTEN THE CO2 CARTRIDGE PLUG/ SCREW COMPLETELY!!! IF YOU DON'T, IT WILL ONLY PIERCE ONE CARTRIDGE!!! 2.) DO NOT LOAD TO FACTORY SPECS!!!! I ONLY LOAD 40 STEEL BB's AT A TIME AND IT FUNCTIONS FLAWLESSLY!! AT FIRST I WAS LOADING 50-60 BB's AND IT JAMMED CONSTANTLY... THE PROBLEM RESOLVED IMMEDIATELY AFTER I STARTED COUNTING OUT 40 BB's BEFORE LOADING THEM. I have used Crosman Copperhead bb's successfully, as long as the BB count was observed,.. although, the manufacturer recommends steel only.. I will be posting small reviews on the Umarex Legends M712 and P08 action pistols as soon as they arrive from Pyramyd Air this week!!! I HIGHLY recommend the Umarex MP-40, and I want to personally thank Umarex and Pyramyd Air for bringing such cool items I can target practice with in my house!!!

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change anything aesthetically... More FPS would be nice, but I'm not complaining as is!!

    What others should know:

TIGHTEN THE CO2 PLUG/CAP/SCREW!!! DO NOT LOAD MORE THAN 40 BB'S IN MY EXPERIENCE!!!

    Things I would have changed:

Get rid of the white lettering-it detracts from the gun

So far I am happy with this gun. Fun to shoot but difficult to load the magazine, also it does not seem to like copper plated BB`s Happy with look and feel. About 3 magazines with CO2 but velocity drops on last mag.

    Things I would have changed:

Definitely need a stop on magazine follower, seems to be common problem on most legends tips guns

do not use in cold weather because less effective.

    Things I would have changed:

A bulk fill adapter would help. The design lends itself for one. I own a lathe so..... It would be nice if they were available for purchase..

    What others should know:

You really want to use a washer between the cartridges. Helps in piercing them. Read my post on the clips. Soda straws work great for speed loaders. I never put more than 40 BBs in the clip. ( All my straws hold.) and the gun functions flawlessly!

    Things I liked:

Gun is all metal and feels very authentic. Full auto feature is nice when it works.

    Things I would have changed:

The magazine, the magazine and the magazine. It has a feed problem. It definitely needs a redesign. Also holding the magazine open when loading BB's is a very difficult. It needs to have a detent cut into magazine so that the follower is held open while loading.

    What others should know:

The gun has a definite BB feed problem in both semi and full automatic firing modes. Loading only a few BB's did not solve my feed problem. Appears to be a poor alignment where the sheet metal of the magazine meets the cast metal top of the magazine.

    Things I liked:

The realism of the action is superb. The blow back firing action is very satisfying. Using Daisy zinc BB's in the properly staggered formation there are ZERO jams. For those experiencing jams, I'll wager they are just pouring the BB's in without ensuring the proper staggering. Extremely accurate although the sights are made for quick aiming and not precise. Everything about the build of the gun is superb. It is truly a marvel how they sell this thing for $200.00. It's no doubt made up for by volume since word spreads quickly on exceptional value like this. Amazing gun and an absolute blast to fire in semi-auto or full-auto.

    Things I would have changed:

Like others have said, the magazine follower is in need of a redesign. You are best to use a small block of wood or some other object to hold the follower back whilst you load.

    What others should know:

You can't possibly be disappointed with this gun.

    Things I liked:

Wooooohooooo! Just fun. Looks and feels like a real firearm. Even sounds 'gunnish'!! No malfunctions in semi or full auto. Won't fire on safe (some overlook this little item).

    Things I would have changed:

Need a 'movie magazine' that never runs out of CO2 or BBs.

    What others should know:

    Get ammo & CO2 in bulk....trust me.

    Things I liked:

Very fun gun! At first I thought it was not functioning properly, then I realized I hadn't pierced both cartridges. When you tighten down the allen wrench, make sure you go past the first resistance to fully snugged down in order to pierce both CO2 cartridges. I love shooting this thing when the sun is just right, and you can see the bright BB's like tracers, and walk your shots in to your target!! I am amazed at how consistently I can center punch a pop can at 20 yards or so. I haven't had any jamming problems at all with Remington plated steel BB's. Accuracy is very good for a smooth bore air gun, power is great, will punch a pop can with a resounding slap. I am afraid I might scare the neighbors.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish the trigger was lighter. This feels almost like a double action revolver instead of a true semi auto. On full auto it is fine, but I prefer to shoot it semi auto. I still really enjoy shooting it, but the trigger would be nicer if it was similar to the Remington 1911 pistol I have or the Luger.

    What others should know:

This seems to be really well made, and has the feel of an authentic carbine. Just buy it, you know you want one :-)
