*This is the max velocity with lead pellets. If you shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger, your velocity will be lower. Since CO2 is a refrigerant, you will receive somewhat fewer shots and lower velocities compared with waiting 5-10 seconds between shots. This applies to all CO2 guns.
One of the most fun rifles you'll ever shoot! In fact, Crosman's 1077 was chosen for the 2001 Bikathlon Event at the Boy Scout Jamboree.
This 12-shot repeater runs on standard 12-gram CO2 cartridges and fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. The synthetic stock is durable, will stand up to decades of use and features a checkered pistol grip and forearm. It's lightweight, easy to use and will provide hours of fun for the whole family. Low on noise, the 1077 won't disturb those with sensitive ears or alert everyone in the neighborhood that you're shooting.
Just because this is a reasonably priced gun, don't get the idea that it won't hit its mark. It's accurate and will hit its intended target every time if YOU'RE a good shot! The 1077 is an ideal rifle for kids (with adult supervision) and smaller adults.
The 12-shot rotary clip is easy to load. For even greater accuracy, you can mount a scope on the 11mm dovetails.

Things I liked: This is very light, easy to setup the scope, inexpensive, easy to shoot and fairly accurate .75 inch at 30 yards, I got 744 FPS on a new CO2 at 68 degrees outside. Just a nice all around backyard plinker. Good crossbar safety.
Things I would have changed: Would be nice to be able to use 2 CO2 units in it .... seems like there is room for it. Would be more fun in 22 version.
What others should know: To much fun. get extra CO2 and pellets.
Things I liked: this is a fun plinking rifle my wife loves it
Things I liked: The Crosman 1077 is much more accurate than I expected, despite its long heavy trigger. The quick shot ability can be helpful at times. Mine gets around 60 good shots per 12 gram CO2 cartridge, making the CO2 a little cheaper than the pellets, ends up costing just under 2 cents per shot, cheaper than some of my pumpers that are more pellet picky. With a couple extra magazines it is easy to just grab and go for a couple days out in the desert, usually do not even need to change CO2 cartridges in that time.
Things I would have changed: The front sight should be a simple blade so that the open sights can actually be used.
What others should know: Get extra clips and magazines, you will be swapping enough to be well worth it. This rifle is quite more powerful than what many reviews seem to indicate. The trigger is heavy and long do to this being a double action revolver action internally. If mine is any indicator, this rifle does NOT like Wadcutter/flat nosed pellets. Also this rifle seems to do best in cooler weather, that is under 95 degrees F ambient temperature, so is is an early morning late night or winter gun.
Is it possible to switch the fiber optic sight for a tradtional blade sight?
How do you hook up 88gram to this I was reading Tom Gaylords or BB Pelletier article he stated that is what he was using. Thanks
you can but they discontinued the adapter. if your lucky amazon has one once in a whie
you have to purchase an 88 gram convertor kit on amazon or from www.gmaccustomparts.com
next question: what is the wall thickness of the straw barrel?
