Winchester 4x32 AO Rifle Scope, Rings

The scope is not that long and fits nice on smaller rifles. Controls are slightly mushy but not bad for the price point. It is surprisingly clear and bright and has good eye relief. The adjustable objective is fairly close to actual yardage.

I would offer the scope in mil-dot variation. Shorten the overall length to sub 10"

The eye piece will turn so you can adjust the crosshairs to be in focus with your eye. It is not very firm and could move slightly. You can make a small mark to show your placement. This is actually my second purchase of this scope. It is hard to beat at this price point. I gave it 5 stars based on what you get for the price.

Clear picture, good eye box easy to get a full sight picture, the AO is easy to understand, holding zero on my Diana 48 springer after a couple hundred shots.

So far so good on my Diana springer, we'll see how long it lasts.

Add in some Picatinny rail, scope mounts I had to change out the scope mounts with some. I already had so that they would fit on my gun..

I like this scope. For me it was a replacement for the Gamo scope. The Gamo scopes are very cheap and the optics shifted inside the scope, making it impossible to use. This scope,is not that expensive, however much better,so far, than the Gamo scope. It has all the features that I need for 30yd backyard shooting.Nice bright image. Easy to sight in and stays sighted in.

I could not use the mounting rings that came with the scope. They are nice, but they slide back when shooting my rifle. These air rifles have a strange recoil that beat up the scopes. So, I used the Gamo scope rings that have the recoil pin on them. They work fine, and the scope stays put. Other than that, I like it.

Make sure you have rings that have the recoil pin, if your rifle has a hole on the top of the receiver. I'm sure the original rings would work on a 22 rimfire.

I picked up the scope to assist the grand-kids in learning proper gun control. Having a scope mounted makes it easier impact control for the gun. The gun was inexpensive so I attempted an inexpensive scope. After finding mechanical zero on the scope I mounted it on the gun. Easy as pie. Attempted to get the mechanical zero on the same spot as it was hitting at 50 yards. Came close, again, easy as pie. Clarity for the scope was good. Range finding is pretty close. Gun is not a hole in hole gun so the impact area is acceptable - but that doesn't affect how the scope works. 4x scope really justs let you get a better eyeball on those things further away. The scope is adequate for the task. A bit of fine tuning is left to do with it but minor changes to the gun will also be expected which will make changes to the scope setting

If I were changing it then I would make the cross hairs thinner at the center. That is a personal preference but they work fine now. If I were changing it then there appears to be a hitch in the adjustment screw going to the left. I would attempt to make sure that it would be more fluid / easier to adjust.

Remember your gun and the scope. Hitting a 8" target at 50 yards just may be your cup of tea. But the neighbor wants it hitting a 3" or 2" target at 50 yards. It is not always the scope or the gun but the operator. My scope was able to get the impact area to a 3" target at 50 yards because I could actually view the target through the scope. Playing around with the gun and scope I hope to have black showing on a 2" target or making the spinner spin at 50 yards. That would be a fine setting for our evil minions varmit control.

Scope is easy to adjust, adjustments in very small increments which allows for excellent zeroing. Mine was way off from the factory but, who expects to mount it and have it be perfect for their gun anyway. I replaced a scope that came with one of my Origins with this and it is far better. My other origin has an aftermarket scope as well. I like the Bug buster series but for the Origin, this works excellent for far less.

For this price having AO. Light weight.

The numbers on the AO don't perfectly track, but it's better than locked on at 35 yards.

Compact and in scale with my Crosman 2100B - this low cost pumper proved to be accurate enough to deserve a scope and the Winchester is perfect because it too is low cost but very good. Glass is clear, it holds zero, reticle wire size is fine, turrets click well, and construction seems high quality. I think it will last.

The ocular ring will easily get out of setting. Not a big deal - fixed with a small piece of 3M blue masking tape attaching the ring to the scope body.

This is a good low cost scope and works on my pumper and certainly would with a CO2 or PCP gun. I would hesitate to mount it on a springer.
