best thing to use is a big tictac plastic box. even the smaller tictac box fits more than enough, you just refill as needed anyway. imo this is way too big and looks way harder to use then a small tictac box with a nice snap up lid.

@pyramydair But wait, then in your sycology that means that making a sandwhich for myself is too much work so I should go buy one thats more expensive and not neccasary? That's just saying that this generation of people is very lazy.

But can't you just go and buy some foam for like a dollar and cut it to fit your own tin that came with the pellets you bought and, there you go, problem solved? You just saved a few bucks

@pyramydair The pellet pin is much better, they say its for breakbarrels but i find it useful for all my airguns just because you only need one hand to load your gun instead of three or four like you do with this or a regular tin.
Isn't this air ...

Isn't this air venturi pellet holster just a holster for a fancy tin? I find it easier to use the Crosman pellet pouch.. pellets on hand without having to slip out the pellet holder and open it.... Much easier access, as the pellets are always free for grabbing...
What's the ...

I would probably get one these But for hunting, I prefer a side belt pouch with velcro, and it holds my H&N Barracudas as well as my .17 Varmint Exresses (or Expressi or however you say it lol) But this definitely for replacing hard-to-use "tins" like Gamo Raptors and Armor :D

@lambchops1493 You have obviously never had to pick up a tin of pellets after it opens by itself...I would buy one of these for hunting for sure... It a pellet holder man, not a new form of the wheel lol

By Dennis from USA on 2011-07-13 11:33:26 - See all my reviewsWhat others should know:I use old Tic Tac boxes. The flip lid is perfect for dumping .177 to .25 pellets in your hand one at a time. You can put several in your pocket or belt pouch so you have a variety of choices based on your target. The lids have proven very durable and they cost nothing. They store well being almost rectangular versus round and come in two sizes, normal and large. The large work well for the really heavy .22 and .25 pellets like the JSB Big Boys. Doesn't help retail sales, but I have been testing for over six years and shooting for over fifty and these work well. If you want quieter, just stuff in a tissue. In the winter you can use them to wipe your nose in cold weather. Dennis Brooks
