@superskays so will a sling shot. $1500 for a battery operated air soft mechanism that uses higher pressure. not what a. gun in that class should have. sometimrs airgunners demand too little, especially on the high end.

Thu Aug 30 01:06:54 EDT 2012
Every shot will have then 130 ftlbs. Thus if you fire 2 shots that is 260; 10 shots is 1300. To make this a serious hunting tool, it needs to let loose quick auto fire IMHO. And doing so would not increase it above what a single shotgun shell now does on a single firing. I would not want this unless it is made auto for that reason. 130 ftlbs is too little.

Wed Aug 29 01:07:56 EDT 2012
I wonder how much attention is brought to the sport of a 12 gauge shotgun that puts out 9 shots all at once? (neglecting a 3 1/2 inch magnum shell, & neglecting the Remington 3 inch magnum that puts out 41 (yes forty-one) #4 buckshot pellets each time you fire one shell.

Wed Aug 29 01:04:48 EDT 2012
I think I would settle for the Conquest over forking out $800 more. But whatever it is, I am thinking that it needs to be full auto to bring it up to a serious hunting weapon, multiple shots being needed. I mean emptying a 9mm Conquest clip might not even be up to one shot of a 12 gauge shotgun. So as long as single-shot 12 gauge shotguns raise no eyebrows, I see no reason for a full auto airgun to raise eyebrows.

Wed Aug 29 01:00:56 EDT 2012
If you let loose a 4 shot volley, then how many ftlbs would it put out? A .45 ACP puts out about 500 ftlbs. Or you might just empty the clip on the pig. (Of course you can keep a .454 pistol handy just in case you need it & a Kel-Tec .308 bullpup.)

Sure would not hunt huge wild hogs with the 9mm, but it will be putting out 130 ftlbs/150J.

Tue Aug 28 16:24:28 EDT 2012
Actually this 9mm gun is minimal power for hunting. If it had the ability to let loose a 3 round volley, it would be much better, & less likely to leave a wounded animal running around suffering.

Mon Aug 27 19:47:07 EDT 2012
Air Venturi made a decision not to import full-auto 9mm air rifles into the US, so as not to bring too much attention to the sport. However the semi-auto air rifle (Conquest 9mm) that is semi-auto does have the full-auto capabilities with installation of a simple switch.

For lots of info on the Hatsan PCPs go to airgunforum dot ca They are quite popular in Canada and have been there for quite some time. Lots of info particularly for the AT-44/ Hamerelli Pnemua etc. Do some searches for hatsasn, bt65, at44 etc for tons of info.

No, we have not done a review on that Hatsan yet. The rifle does look promising. In that class you may also want to consider Evanix Rainstorm II, AR6, and Sumatra air rifles. If you are looking for power, then those are your go-to guns. Besides that, of course AirForce Condor.
You can call us 888-262-4867 between 9 and 6:00 pm EST on a week day.

Sure, will do. Quick question though? Have you guys not done a review for the Hatsan BT65SB air rifles yet? I stumbled upon the Hatsan BT65SB and like the 45 ft. lbs muzzle energy out of 22 cal. Also, PCP rifles such as the Hatsan BT65SB in .22? Can I use alloy/premium light weight pellets or is this rifle best suited for heavy pellets; such as, Eun Jin 28.4 grain domed .22 cal pellet? Please, have a sales person contact me, I am interested in placing order soon, before months end; P.M my inbox.

@MADHater01,
Yes, PCP airguns provide great consistency since air expansion does not depend much on temperature (unlike CO2). Why don't visit the Conquest product page on our web site and ready an extension multi-part review on the Airgun Academy blog by BB Pelletier (aka Tom Gaylord). It shows real field results of testing this air rifle.
