Things I liked:wow-gas is unreal-very consistant.first group was 10 shotts in a 3/4 in. circle-harder to cock then springer but worth it. Things I would have changed:rear sight-it is so maxed out it is loose(epoxyed base of it and it helped).trick would be to lower front sight so the tear can be lower! not a issue with a scope. What

Things I liked:Gas piston versus metal spring, knowing that this is just an air rifle...but with 22 rimfire velocity, build quality, accuracy. Things I would have changed:This is no kids gun, I am 5'11", 200 lbs. and of a stocky build. About 40-50 shots into it, this thing wears your arms out! The trigger also needed to be replaced

Things I would have changed:This is no kids gun, I am 5'11", 200 lbs. and of a stocky build. About 40-50 shots into it, this thing wears your arms out! The trigger also needed to be replaced...way too heavy from stock. I ordered from Charliedatuna.com and it took less than 5 minutes to install. A great upgrade and much needed if you want real accuracy. What others should know:This is a heard hitting, accurate air rifle. I have tried numerous different pellet weights, shapes, etc... Mine tends to like the Gamo Magnums the best and will hit the center of the bullseye at 50 feet all day...as long as I lay off the coffee! I wanted pro-marksmanship for a lower price and I definately got it (after the trigger upgrade) with this rifle.

Not cheap, but after experiencing the difference, I'm extremely happy that I went with the upgrade. CFX was consistantly accurate right out of the box. I.e. no "seasoning" of the barrel. Fixed barrel is the best! Sturdy construction, including the cocking movement. For those of you that don't want to mount a scope, like me, the Tru Glo sights are the only way to go. Things I would have changed:The girth of the muzzle component, which encompasses the front sight and cocking lever locking mechanism, is fairly significant and may cause the elevation screw to be pushed to it's limit. What others should know:Elevation adjustment screw is close to "maxing" out. Probably due to height of front sight. If you're on the fence about converting to the gas spring, go with the gas spring, you won't regret it.
