Things I would have changed:As part of lightening my air rifle, I turned the 2 heavy duty mounting nuts past the tightened end thread ends and replaced them with lighter weight standard nuts.

They provided enough clearance for a 3-9x40 scope on a Hatsan Model 125. Most likely they will provide enough clearance for a scope with a 40mm primary on other air rifles. I had no problems with them during installation. The rings seated the scope firmly.

What others should know:The see thru feature for using your open sights may, or may not work. Depending on your front and rear sight height. I can't see the sights in my case.
